The meal was coming to an end. Everyone was in high spirits. Quincy wanted to create more opportunities for her son. So, she said, "You're all schoolmates. It's rare for you to gather together. Tonight's meal is on me. Everyone, you can go and sing later. How about that?"
Everyone agreed. Only Justin suddenly said, "Ms. Lambert, I'm sorry. I still have something on tonight and need to go back. So, I won't go over. Have fun."
"Okay, okay. It's fine. Be careful on the road."
The group of people then went to a bar together. When Serena passed Justin, she paused and glanced at him.
"Be careful," Justin said lightly.
Serena nodded. "You too."
The moment she heard that he wasn't going, she felt disappointed.
She even regretted agreeing to sing. But she was in a bad mood, and she thought it was good to relax.
Most of them were youngsters. In KTV, everyone was very relaxed. Serena had drunk a lot.
In the end, she fell asleep on the sofa.
When Patrick sent her back to the hotel, she could no longer stand up. He could only carry her up to the eighth floor.
As soon as he stepped out of the elevator, he saw a figure leaning against the door.
Justin held his phone and frowned slightly. When he heard the elevator door open, he stood up and looked up.
Instantly, his frown deepened.
When Patrick saw him, he was also stunned. "Justin, didn't you go back?"
"Something came up and I couldn't leave." Justin's voice was slightly cold.
Patrick carried Seren on his back and walked to Justin. He looked up and saw that the room belonged to Serena.
"Give her to me," Justin said expressionlessly.
Serena smacked her lips and refused to open her eyes. Justin lifted her eyelids and said, "Look clearly, who am I?"
Serena said in a daze, "J-Justin..." Then, she burped.
"Who is Justin to you?"
She tried to open her eyes to get a better look. Then, she mumbled, "Justin is my husband."
As soon as she finished speaking, Patrick was completely dumbfounded.
Justin looked at him expressionlessly. "Is it enough now?"
Patrick didn't know what to say. He glanced at Serena and said, "Then, take good care of her."
"She's my wife. Of course, I'll take good care of her." With that, Justin opened the door.
Serena was already asleep. Now that she was woken up, she became a chatterbox. She pulled Justin and chattered non-stop.
