Brian quickly completed all the formalities for his new house. They could move there tomorrow.
On Saturday, he drove back to move his things.
When he returned home, he realized that Nelson hadn't come home to stay for a while.
Perhaps he felt bored because Brian had left and no one was fighting with him here.
Casper's eyes lit up when he saw Brian return. He thought Brian was coming back to stay. He asked with a trembling voice, "Brian, you're back?"
Brian looked at him and nodded respectfully. "I'm back to move my things."
Casper was shocked. "Move your things? Moving what?"
"Clothes."
Casper felt he had suffered a blow to the head.
He had been quite lonely during this period. After Nelson left, no one spoke to him anymore. Although Jasmine was at home, she couldn't stand him. Other than calling him twice when eating, she didn't say a word the rest of the time.
He made a scene the last time he went to Grace's ward. After Jasmine returned, She didn't even bother to call him for dinner. She directly asked Melvin to call him.
He was alone. When he slept at night, he thought of Brian and his dead son. He sighed and tossed and turned, unable to fall asleep.
He had thought Brian was finally willing to come back. Unexpectedly, Brian was home to move his things. It seemed like he was planning to live outside for a long time.
He and Brian had fallen out this time.
He pulled two suitcases downstairs and walked to Casper. "Grandpa, take care of yourself. I'll come back to see you when I have time."
Casper closed his eyes. "Brian, you have to consider carefully."
Brian didn't say anything. He just dragged his luggage and left firmly. "Mom, take good care of Grandpa."
"Okay." Jasmine stared at Casper for a while and asked nervously, "Casper? Are you alright? Should I help you back to rest?"
Casper looked exhausted and said in a deep voice, "No need. I think you can't wait for something to happen to me."
Jasmine clicked her tongue. "Casper, you can't say that. I don't have any such thoughts. You're Brian's grandfather. You're my father-in-law, my elder. I can't wait for you to live a long life."
Casper seemed to be annoyed by her words. He sat up, walking toward his room before she could finish her sentence.
