Upon hearing this, a glint of darkness flashed in Maxim’s eyes as he murmured, “Alright.”

After hanging up the phone, Maxim felt a sense of relief. He was planning to use Sabina against Zane. Sabina’s purpose in coming to Haseton was to take revenge on Zane and Mallory, so the child in Mallory’s womb was likely not going to be safe.

He had just told Briana Cameron about this matter, also to test her attitude. If she still cared about the Schneider family, he would find another way to deal with Zane.

In the evening, just as Zane had finished work and was preparing to go to the hospital, he received a call from an unknown number.
