Dumping The Ice King His Mini-Tyrant novel Chapter 380

Felicity’s eyes went wide. It finally dawned on her what was happening, but she still couldn’t quite process it. “Harrison, what are you doing here?” she blurted out.

Harrison’s expression was grim as he tried to gather himself, breaking things down step by step. “Selene’s assistant told me she wanted to see me alone, so I was supposed to wait for her here.”

Felicity’s gaze dropped to his hands, which he’d been keeping hidden behind his back. “Harrison, your hands—why are you in handcuffs?! Did Selene do this to you?!”

Harrison’s face darkened, frustration written all over him. He felt like an absolute idiot.

He didn’t even want to think about it anymore. Selene just kept pushing things too far, always taking things to extremes.

She’d completely set him up.

The realization sent his mind spinning, a hot wave of anger churning in his gut.

He glanced around the room, searching for a key, and urged Felicity, “Help me find the key!”

“Oh, right.” Felicity quickly joined him, looking everywhere for something that could unlock the cuffs.

But in the back of her mind, another thought was brewing: now that they were both locked in this room, and Harrison’s hands were bound, didn’t that mean… she could do whatever she wanted with him, especially with that drug still working its way through their systems?

Just imagining it made her knees weak.

She arched her back, angling herself toward Harrison.

With him under the influence too, it wouldn’t take much to tempt him, would it?

Feigning innocence, she kept up the search while complaining, “Selene totally set us up! Why would she do something so awful? Does she want to see us… you know, do something? I’m her own sister! How could she do this to me?”

She pushed all the blame onto Selene, plotting her next move. If things escalated between her and Harrison, even if it wasn’t his idea, he’d only be angry at Selene, not her.

This was supposed to be the trick they pulled on Adrian, but clearly Selene had found out and turned the tables on them, trapping them in their own scheme.

The embarrassment and anger at being played by Selene quickly faded from Felicity’s mind. The only thing left was the anticipation of what might happen next.

She bit her lip, trying to keep her expression under control. For so long, she’d wondered how to break out of the “just friends” rut with Harrison. Now Selene had handed her the perfect opportunity. She’d be a fool to waste it.
