Dumping The Ice King His Mini-Tyrant novel Chapter 314

Felicity’s voice echoed in Harrison’s ears.

Bound and helpless, he stared coldly at the television screen, his eyes fixed and unblinking.

He understood exactly who Felicity was talking about—Selene.

What kind of dirt had Felicity found on her?

The only truly unforgivable thing Selene had done—the one thing that could bring the entire Thompson family to ruin—was imprisoning him here.

But how could Felicity have discovered that he was being held captive?

A nerve in Harrison’s brain began to throb violently.

No. This can’t happen.

Felicity couldn’t expose the secret that he was being kept prisoner. That would destroy them all.

Suddenly, Harrison’s eyes widened in horror.

On the massive screen at the front of the room, a graphic video began to play.

Victor’s face went from pale to a deep, furious purple in an instant.

Matilda shrieked, instinctively throwing her hand up—not even to stifle her mouth, just to shield herself from the shock. Her scream was raw and piercing.

Around the room, other relatives and shareholders gasped; every face in the audience twisted into a grimace of disbelief or outright terror.

Felicity stood on stage, taking in every reaction, her gaze sweeping the crowd.

She raised her voice, addressing the stunned guests. “You’ve all seen it now! Is this really the kind of person you want leading Thompson Victory Technologies?”

Her lips curled into a thin, malicious smile.

“Would you really trust someone with such a reckless personal life to take control of the company?”

This was her grand gift to Selene after being acquitted—revenge, wrapped and delivered in front of everyone. Selene had dared to provoke her, and now, Felicity had set her up for public humiliation.

She had doctored the footage, swapping Harrison’s face out for another man’s. Now, everyone believed that while Selene was supposedly dating Adrian, she was also fooling around with someone else.

Felicity glanced at Adrian, eager to see his reaction.

Standing in the front row, Adrian lifted his glass and toasted her, his expression unreadable.

“Miss Felicity, what courage you have—to put family aside for the good of the company!”

Felicity froze, thrown by his calm composure. He was thanking her? In public?

She nearly burst out laughing. Of course, Adrian must have only been toying with Selene all along—maybe he’d known about her wild ways from the start.

Smug now, Felicity lifted her chin, ready to turn and see the look on Selene’s face—when Victor stormed forward.

And then she froze in utter shock.

The screen now showed Victor himself, caught in a compromising scene with his secretary in the backseat of a car. Their faces were unmistakable.

Felicity stared in disbelief. How could this be happening?

Had the video she gave the technician finished, and now another was playing—one she’d never intended to be seen?

She spun around, frantically searching the crowd for the employee she’d bribed.

But as her gaze swept the room and landed back on Selene, she realized what had happened.

Up on stage, chaos reigned. But Selene stood serenely off to the side, utterly untouched by the mayhem.

She lifted her glass, meeting Felicity’s stunned eyes, and toasted her with a small, knowing smile.

Selene mouthed, silently but unmistakably: “Well done.”

And with a sound like a firecracker exploding in her skull, Felicity felt her whole body go numb, every hair on end.

Only now did she finally understand.

Selene had played her for a fool.
