Dumping The Ice King His Mini-Tyrant novel Chapter 263

Victor jolted, his voice barely more than a whisper. “For me?”

Gwyneth toyed with her hair, one arm propped on the seatback. She wore a low-cut blazer with nothing underneath, and as she leaned forward, Victor’s gaze dropped helplessly to her neckline. He swallowed hard, unable to tear his eyes away.

The woman before him was all curves and confidence, oozing a sultry charm that made Victor’s mind go blank. All he could do was watch her lips move, red and inviting.

“I want to acquire Thompson Victory Technologies.”

Victor stiffened again. “What did you say?”

Her delicate, manicured hand slid onto his thigh. “Victor, why don’t you make this happen for me? Please?”

Victor felt his breath hitch and his body tense. He couldn’t even control his mouth anymore. “Yes, yes… anything…”

Gwyneth’s lips curled into a sly, satisfied smile.

Across from them, Clayton finally spoke up, unable to watch in silence any longer. “Dad, don’t forget you already put Selene in charge of the acquisition.”

“Selene?” Gwyneth echoed, feigning confusion.

Victor shot Clayton a disgruntled look. “Selene is my daughter, Gwyneth. I’m sure you’ve seen her in the business news?”

Gwyneth shook her head, a coy smile playing on her lips. “I’ve been abroad, so I’m not exactly up-to-date with local news.”

Victor puffed up with pride. “My daughter won the ALI Math Competition gold medal! You know, she’s also the famous race car driver Luna from Aldonia. She recently competed in the international exhibition race!

She was a stay-at-home mom for seven years, but the moment she stepped back into the world, she took everyone by storm. Impressive, isn’t she?”

Gwyneth murmured thoughtfully, “A stay-at-home mom winning a top math prize? Sounds like someone pulled a few strings.”

Victor bristled. “My daughter was accepted into Aldonia University of Science & Technology’s elite program when she was just fourteen! She’s a genius!”

Gwyneth gave him a sidelong, flirtatious glance. “But is it fair for the ALI committee to give the gold to someone who’s been out of the academic game for years? How would all those grad students and PhDs feel? Besides, what if she just goes back to being a housewife next week?”

“Uh, I…” Victor faltered, at a loss for words.

He sat across from her, immaculate in a crisp shirt and charcoal patterned tie, his tailored black suit fitting perfectly. His gaze was icy, his expression unreadable.

“Dames is awake.”

To save Dames’ life, the Vaughn family had spared no expense this time.

Vaughn Enterprises and Metropolitan General Hospital had pulled together a team of top specialists overnight, even flying in renowned surgeons from abroad, all at Vaughn’s expense.

Now that Dames had regained consciousness, the rehabilitation team had already started helping him get back to normal life as soon as possible.

Hearing this, Felicity could hardly contain herself—she wanted nothing more than to leap across the table and throw herself at Harrison. But she was pinned to the metal chair, utterly powerless.

She looked a mess, a shadow of her former self.

“So Dames woke up… does that mean I don’t have to stay in here? Harrison, when are you getting me out?”
