Dumping The Ice King His Mini-Tyrant novel Chapter 105

Chapter 105

After all her years on a motorcycle, Felicity had never felt so utterly powerless–never truly understood what it meant to be left in the dust until now.

She and Luná weren’t even in the same league.

This wasn’t a competition; it was Luna putting on a one–woman show, making Felicity look like an amateur in front of everyone.

Dames had been watching Luna for ages before he even noticed Felicity lagging behind. Crossing his arms and puffing out his cheeks in annoyance, he complained,

“Flick’s so slow! She’s crawling at turtle speed!”

Harrison lounged in a chair, the heavy racing suit unzipped to reveal a broad, powerful chest rising and falling with each breath. His gaze was fixed, unwavering, on Luna–no one had ever captured his attention like this before. Maybe that was the magic of extreme sports: once you started watching, it was impossible to look

away.

Selene finished her third lap first, pulling up at the finish line and signaling to

Adrian.

Adrian nodded and sent someone to contact the staff at the control booth.

A staff member’s voice crackled right into Felicity’s helmet,

“Miss Thompson, Luna has already completed the race. As agreed, please stop your bike and run to the finish line on foot.”

Felicity was a lap and a half behind Selene. That meant she had to run nearly three

miles!

But Felicity didn’t care what the staff was saying. She kept riding, refusing to stop.

Unbeknownst to her, the staff’s announcement echoed throughout the entire

stadium.

The crowd saw Felicity ignoring the call and began to shout:

“Get off the bike! Get off!

“A bet’s a bet–pay up!”

“Trying to ride a bit longer so you don’t have to run? Nice try!”

Felicity’s friends, scattered in the stands, cringed as the shouts grew louder. They were mortified.

One of the rich kids made his way to the control booth and used a private channel to reach Felicity over her headset.

“Felicity! Stop the bike–everyone’s booing you!”

No way was she about to run the whole distance, panting and red–faced. Instead, Felicity started pushing her heavy motorcycle along the track, trudging toward the finish line.

Technically, she was still honoring the bet. But after just a few minutes of hauling the weighty bike, Felicity was already out of breath, hair a mess, looking utterly defeated:

Meanwhile, Selene had dismounted and turned to see Harrison and Dames striding toward her.

Dames bounded up, eyes sparkling like black jewels.

“Luna! You’re amazing! Do you have kids? I bet being your kid would be the luckiest thing in the world!”

He was besotted, completely starstruck.

“If I were your kid, I’d die happy! Luna, my dad’s a CEO–do you want to be his wife?” Selene met Dames‘ gaze through her helmet.

She’d raised him for five years, but never before had he looked at her with such worship.

Harrison’s deep voice cut through the moment, his dark eyes fixed on Luna with keen interest.

“Within three days, come to the Vaughn estate to collect your prize. If you don’t show up in person, the bet’s off.”

Selene’s lips curled into a subtle smile, laughter rumbling in her throat.

Her ex–husband–still as domineering as ever.
