Chapter 100
Adrian mentally traced every inch of the off–road section, running through it in his mind as a flicker of a smile played at the corners of his mouth, eyes alight with anticipation.
“The road ahead is smooth, Luna. Go for it–give it everything you’ve got!”
With her headlights off, Solarius raced through the darkness at full speed. She trusted Adrian completely, keeping her foot on the gas until she finally broke through the blackness and glimpsed the first rays of morning.
The engine’s roar grew louder, and the spectators at the finish line craned their necks, searching the horizon. Once the cars entered the blackout zone, the giant screen behind the stands went pitch black too, leaving everyone holding their breath.
No one knew which car would be the first to burst out of the darkness and onto the regular track.
Dames stood on the rail, bracing himself against the icy wind, eyes glued to the distance.
Suddenly, a jet–black racecar shot into view. The screen flickered to life in sync, and the crowd erupted into cheers and shrieks.
It was Solarius!
She’d emerged from the blackout zone in first place.
Close behind her was Harrison in the Dark Hole.
“Luna! Dad!!” Dames screamed, voice raw with excitement. He pressed his palms together, praying with all his heart.
Please, let Dad and Luna both take first!
Light gleamed in Harrison’s obsidian eyes. Solarius was right in front of him, and the thrill of competition ignited something deep inside. He’d weathered countless boardroom battles and endless pressure without breaking a sweat, but as he chased Solarius down, adrenaline surged through him, electric and wild.
Gone was the calm, composed executive–now he was pure instinct, a beast in pursuit, every fiber of his being focused on overtaking the car ahead.
But the finish line was less than two kilometers away!

He looked wild, a man intoxicated, obsidian eyes swirling with something heady and untamed. A fleeting, euphoric grin flickered across his face before he slumped in utter exhaustion.
Felicity had never seen him like this–so breathless, so undone. His ragged breaths filled the car, the air heavy with the scent of adrenaline and heat.
Her own breath caught. This was a side of Harrison she’d never known–a dangerous, magnetic energy that pulled her in.
Felicity found herself leaning toward him, unable to resist. But suddenly, a gust of cold air swept in, making her shiver violently. She snapped back to reality and saw Harrison already pushing open the door, stepping out into the night.
“Harrison!”
But he was gone, striding away–tall and lean, helmet in hand, heading straight for
