“That’s right, he’s never been the type to joke around. Since childhood, whatever he says, he means it, and he always takes things very seriously,” Edward added quietly from the side.

Hearing that, Aurora dared not say another word. She forced a small smile. “Don’t worry, I’ll get used to it. Since you don’t care, then why should 1?”

“But I don’t want you to force yourself.” Lucas frowned. “If you feel uncomfortable, you have to tell me. If you keep it in, I’ll feel worse. Wouldn’t that defeat the whole purpose of coming to this family banquet together?”
