Then she gave her assurance. “But rest assured, your profits will not be reduced by even a fraction. Even without Aurora, I’ll groom others in management to take her place.”

Hearing this, Tessa felt a flicker of relief settle in her chest.

The shareholders looked on, their hearts heavy.

But Tessa felt no such regret.
