"Mom!"
Nicole crazily ran to the basement, and knocked over all the guards there.
Harley was a little surprised, but he still followed.
"Mom!"
Nicole fell down all of a sudden, but she got up immediately and continued running towards the basement.
Elvis grabbed Nicole at the sight of all these.
"Let me go! Elvis! Let me go!"
Nicole waved her arms like mad.
Elvis got extremely angry.
"You'd better not provoke me now, Nicole. Your mother has ruined everything. She ruined Xander!"
Nicole suddenly understood something at the sound of this word.
"My dad was in the basement? Why didn't I see him the day before yesterday? He was so close to me. Why didn't I find my dad? Why did my mom know? Why? Now that my dad was found, why didn't you let me know, mom? Why didn't you bring him out? Why did you leave together like this? What should I do now that you're gone? Mom!"
Nicole knelt on the ground.
The raging fire soared into the clouds, illuminating half the sky.
Nicole knew that Audrey was about to die. She knew that Audrey suffered great pain every day, but she still couldn't believe that Audrey would leave her like this.
Not long ago, they were sleeping and chatting together. Why would they become eternally separated all of a sudden?
Elvis was so angry that his entire body trembled.
"Damn it!"
Elvis remembered the notebook that Audrey still had with her and suddenly asked Nicole.
"Where's your mother's notebook?"
Nicole was overwhelmed by sadness. When she heard his question, she subconsciously said, "My mother has always carried it with her. The thing you want has already been buried in the sea of fire with my mother. Elvis, you've been planning for so long. Have you thought that there would be such a day?"
"Damn it!"
He slapped Nicole in the face.
Nicole staggered and fell to the ground.
Her heart hurt so bad.
Mother left just like that without leaving a single word behind. She left with her father. For her mother, this might be the best outcome, but for her, this was truly unbearable.
Elvis did not care how Nicole felt now. He shouted angrily, "Extinguish the fire! Hurry up!"
However, no matter how hard Harley and the others tried, this flame continued soaring.
Samuel searched around for a long time but couldn't find Nicole. Suddenly, he received a phone call from Lucas.
"Samuel, there is a fire on a small island. Could Mommy be there?"
"Give me the address."
Samuel looked at the address sent by Lucas and sent someone to fly the helicopter at once.
Seeing that the fire was out of control, Elvis hurriedly grabbed Nicole and said, "Hurry up and arrange for the helicopter to evacuate. Where's Una? Take Una with you! Don't worry about the others for now."
At this moment, Harley suddenly said, "Lord Elvis, Lillian has run away again."
"This damned woman! Don't worry about her for now. Bring Una and Nicole with us."
He knew better than anyone how much damage the fire would bring.
Samuel was not foolish. He was sure that they would come to check on such a big fire.
Nicole seemed to have thought of this as well.
Perhaps Audrey set herself on fire intentionally to lure Samuel over.
Now that Audrey died in such a miserable way, Nicole would not let Elvis get what he wanted.
She suddenly broke free from Elvis' control and turned to run to the main hall.
Una was Elvis' soft spot. As long as she controlled Una, everything would go smoothly.
Driven by such thoughts, Nicole quickly ran to the main hall. However, she did not expect that the gunshot would suddenly come from behind.
Elvis had a gun!
Nicole dodged the first shot, but she failed to dodge the second.
The intense pain almost caused her to faint, but she still rolled on the spot, found a cover, and quickly headed towards the main hall.
Blood seeped into her trouser legs, making it difficult for her to move.
Nicole watched Una anxiously run out of the main hall.
"Elvis, what's wrong? What happened?"
"Protect Una!"
Una was trembling violently.
"Ms. Nicole, what do you mean? If you weren't his niece, who else could you be?"
"Una, don't listen to her nonsense. She's crazy. She's a mad dog. You can't listen to her!"
"Shut up!"
Una suddenly growled.
She looked at Elvis, the man she had loved all her life, and suddenly felt somewhat heartache.
"Let her speak. Elvis, what I want to know is the whole truth. I don't want to live in a fairy tale. I want to know everything. Don't stop her."
Although Una was weak, her gaze was firm.
Elvis staggered for a moment and shook his head, "No. Don't listen to her, Una. We are doing well on our own. There's no need for you to know those things."
"No need? If I really don't need to know, then Ms. Nicole won't call me Hellen of Troy. You know, what I want most this life is to be with you, but I don't want it to be based on other people's pain."
When Nicole heard Una's words, she laughed all of a sudden.
"Don't want it to be based on other people's pain? Do you know that Elvis has not only caused pain, but also broken up others' family and taken others' lives!"
"Nicole, believe it or not, I'll shoot you!"
Elvis picked up the gun and aimed it at Nicole's head directly.
Right now, Nicole was completely fearless.
She sneered and said, "Come on, kill me! You've even killed your biological son, then of course you can kill your daughter-in-law as well."
Una trembled at the sound of this word.
"Your biological son? What? Elvis, you have a biological son?"
Una looked at Elvis with tearful eyes.
The fact that she had been deceived by her beloved man for such a long time made her unbearably dizzy.
Elvis suffered from great heartache at the sight of Una.
"Una, don't listen to her nonsense. I've never had sex with any other women. Believe me!"
"Really? If you've never had sex with other women, then how did Petty come into the world? Do you dare to tell Una how her best friend Lillian had been tortured by you all these years, and how you had treated her as Una's test kit and mobile blood bank? Do you dare to tell her that Lillian had given birth to a daughter for you, but you were afraid that Lillian would not listen to you, so you dropped her off at the orphanage the day after her birth? Do you dare to tell her how you threatened Lillian and Petty in order to control them? Do you dare?"
Every time Nicole said a word, Una's eyes widened. In the end, she knelt on the ground and looked at Elvis in disbelief, as if she was looking at a stranger.
