Don't Trust Anyone novel Chapter 2

I was sitting reading the paper and saw that the nursing home within walking distance of my house was hiring. I decided to go in the morning and apply for one of the shifts. It had openings for the first and second shifts.

I would work either but I preferred the second shift. I decided to go lay in bed and watch TV for a while. I walked around making sure the windows and doors were locked before shutting off the lights.

I walked upstairs to my room and put on my sweat pants and shirt I liked to wear to bed. I brushed my teeth and took out my contacts before walking to my bedroom. I lay down shut off my light and turned on my TV. I must have fallen asleep in the middle of the show I was watching.

I continue to watch her from a distance. I knew she had gone to bed, I got out of the chair and walked into the clubhouse. As I walked in I heard Steve our enforcer ask me why I have been sitting outside every night for the past three nights. I just looked at him not saying a word. I grabbed a beer before sitting down.

I noticed that Savage was watching Queen worried. Finally, he said. "Queen, you have been worried since you received that letter last month. What is going on?" I am worried about my niece. She was in an abusive relationship. the letter was from a friend of hers.

Donna found my letter one day when she was helping my Kara pack, and she wrote my address down. She is concerned that Kara is going to be killed by her ex-boyfriend. Donna said he recently beat Kara so bad just because a biker friend of his told Kara she looked beautiful one night.

I was thinking about how much I want to find my woman to love me. My president had Deb or Queen as he calls her, our enforcer Steve has Elizabeth but I had no one. Elizabeth looked at me and asked. Beast you are really quiet tonight. I know you don't talk a lot. Is something bothering you? I suppose you all know that a woman moved into the house across the street.

We saw. She was putting bars up on all her windows. I wonder what that is all about? It tells me she is scared of something or someone. But what or who. She is a tiny thing. I often ride by but have not seen her outside since that first day. I watch her from across the street at night until she is safely in her bedroom. I will make sure no one bothers her.

Elizabeth maybe she will apply for one of the positions at the nursing home you work at. It is within walking distance of her house. About three blocks from her house. I have to work tomorrow. I hope if she does she works second shift. We could become friends. That would be nice if you could. I think I'm going to go to my room. See you all tomorrow. Night beast they all said.
