Kurt called back for the third time, entirely determined to share his joy with his brother.

"Don't speak yet. Take your crutches and go to the bathroom."

Shanley interrupted him, his voice lazy and deep.

"Why?" Kurt was confused.

"Don't worry about that." Shanley shifted his position, speaking at a leisurely pace. "Once you're in the bathroom, turn on the faucet, wash your face, and then look in the mirror."

"Once you're wide awake, call me back."

"Brother!"

Catching Shanley's underlying implication, Kurt's mouth twitched violently. "I genuinely proposed successfully! The wedding is in six months."

"Oh."

Shanley thought for a few seconds before suddenly asking in a drawl, "So, did you hold a gun to Coach Fox's head and force her to agree?"

"Bro, I'm your brother! Your blood brother!" Kurt nearly passed out from pure anger, raising his voice in exasperation. "Can't you just accept that Ebony Fox loves me so much she actually wants to marry me?"

As Kurt spoke, he secretly glanced over his shoulder at the girl sitting cross-legged on the living room sofa, his eyes overflowing with love. "Shanley, can you send me your entire wedding prep guide?"

"Six months is a really tight timeline. I need to start getting things ready right now."

"Do Grandma, Grandpa, and your parents know about this?" Shanley reminded him.

"Grandpa and Grandma are a given. And my parents actually have a really good impression of Ebony Fox now."
