Ava was shocked. Her eyes widened as she was frozen.

When he began to move his lips over hers, she closed her eyes.

She felt a trembling sensation develop on the inside of her body as she felt his lips move. She felt compelled to give him the same feeling in return, and it caused her heart to tighten.

Ian was lost in the feeling. He had reached a point where he was so broken that he allowed his feelings to take control of him, and he needed to let them.

This woman was no longer his ex–girlfriend but his mate. She could not say he crossed the line because he was no one to her. He was her mate, and that alone was enough to drive him insane.

Her lips felt soft and smooth against his. He wanted to keep eating them for as long as possible.

Taking her lower lip in between his lips, he started sucking on it while rolling his tongue over it.

Ava let out a moan.

It shocked her and brought her back to reality. She flung her eyes open.

It was hard for her to believe that she had allowed him to kiss her without attempting to push him away.

Almost immediately, she made an attempt to push him. However, in response to her, he pressed his body against hers, which caused her to let out a gasp.

He seized the opportunity and pushed his tongue inside. Her eyes grew wider as she felt his tongue brush against

hers.

Tilting his head, he gave her a passionate kiss while leaning his arms against the pillar.

Ava was unsure of her feelings. It was a feeling that had been missing for a very long time. When she realized he was not going to let go, she balled her fists.

‘No, no, I can’t lose my mind. I am now someone else’s girlfriend,‘ she told herself.

She tried to ignite a fire to push this man away. But, to her surprise, she could not do so. It was her wolf who was stopping her from doing so.

She was completely lost.

But she was confused too. How would she fight her inner wolf?

Ian’s hands moved slowly down from the pillar, reaching for her waist.

He could not express how he was feeling inside. All the pain that had been buried inside him for years faded in just one kiss.

He did not even know how long he had been waiting for these feelings. He was missing this in his life.

After getting so close to her, he could not tell her how wild his mind was running. His heart pounded as if it were his first kiss, and he could kiss her all night.

He felt her struggling, trying to push him and hurt him with her abilities. But he did not move. The pain comparison to this feeling. He could bear any pain for this.

He smirked at her while wiping his blood with his thumb.

She felt anger at his smirk. It was as if he was teasing her.
