No one dared to move because their gaze was fixed on a single person. It was none other than lan Dawson. They were afraid to move or offend hitu.

A few minutes ago, the music was turned off, so Ronald sigaled to the DJ to start playing it again.

“It’s okay. Maybe Brother Stephen’s mood is off,” Debra said, calling him ‘brother‘ again. Stephen clenched his jaw, furrowing his brows. “Stop talking to me. Focus on your game.”

Rolling her eyes, Debra turned at Griffin. She hugged his ann and said,

“You are so handsome. I have always wanted to date a wizard. I think I am fated to you, Griffin.”

Ava and Abigail let out a laugh. Debra winked at Griffin, indicating that she said that to make his sister laugh. Griffin understood that and played along with her by saying

“Why not? I am ready to ask you out.”

They heard ‘Ool‘ from other sides..

Ava noticed Stephen was looking at them with a frown. Suddenly their eyes met, and Ava motioned him as if asking,

“What happened, Steph?”

He shook his head and focused on his friends.

Abigail got up and went somewhere. Then she returned with a bowl of chits. She set it on the center table and sat down beside Ava and Bruno.

“Oh, Beta Bruno is also here? I didn’t notice. I am surprised Who invited you?” Ronald spoke out.

Abigail was stunned by his sudden action and words. She blinked and shook her head in response. “N–No.”

As soon as Ronald saw Bruno with Abigail, his laugh began to fade. Ava observed Ronald’s reaction. She returned her gaze to Ronald after briefly looking at Abigail.

“Let’s play,” a woman spoke up.

Ava recognized the woman. She was Paul’s girlfriend, Lily. She remembered how upset she was with Ian because she thought he had started playing with girls again.

She glanced away and asked Dane,

“Are you getting bored? Do you want to go back home?”

Freya grabbed the bowl and began passing it to the next person, and the game began.

Everyone kept looking at the two rivals seated across from each other. The atmosphere was tense.

Whenever their eyes met, they could hear crackling between them. Everyone was waiting for the drama, wondering what would happen if one of them offended the other.

When the bowl was in Debra’s hand, the music came to a halt.

Debra picked up a chit and handed it to Lily.

Lily read the chit silently before asking,

“Do you have a crush on someone? If yes, then give us a hint ”

Debra chuckled while mumbling,

“Crush is a silly thing. But I do have a crush on someone. But he should not know about it.”

“Come on. Give us some hints. Is he here?” Lily pressed her for an answer.

Debra did not meet anyone’s gaze as she replied,

Everyone, including Ava, was surprised.
