Ava woke up early as usual. She went to the company. She started new project, which was for an annual ball. She was designing the costumes for the young models. After the showcase, people would start to buy clothes from the company.

Ava suddenly thought of opening her own brand. She chuckled and shook the thought away.

Opening a brand meant investing millions to make it successful. Sice she was under Erickson Industries, people liked her designs. It had brand value, and she got exposure in just a few months.

Without this company, she would be nothing.

Erom looking for the best quality clothes to designing them aesthetically, Ava liked to do everything on her own. Though she had many employees under her and an assistant as well, it did not lessen the pressure of her work.

When it was break time, Ava went to the cafeteria and sat at the table with the familiar ladies.

“I heard Freya is back.”

Ava started to eat while listening to the gossip girls.

“She was out of the pack for a long time. Do you think something happened between her and Alpha Dane?”

“Wait, now it makes sense. He terminated the contract, and she left the pack.”

“Guys, relax. She did not leave. She sometimes goes overseas for vacation. Her assistant and my assistant are friends on social media. She said Freya was outside for a trip. Now she is back.”

Ava stopped eating when she heard the woman who had just spoken up.

“Don’t you think in the last few years Alpha has changed a lot? Even someone else snatched his badboy title. Alpha Dane should cover this up as soon as possible.”

Ava frowned at her. “How? By showing a merciless attitude? He is fine how he is right now. The title is not even a title but a negative reputation. Why is everyone so obsessed with it?”

The women around the table looked shocked by her angry tone. It was the first time Ava talked so angrily to them.

One of them smiled at Ava politely and said,

“Let’s change the topic. Ava, did you hear the news of our rival Alpha?”

Ava looked away from her and shook her head. She lied, although she had read the news.

“Ava, you don’t know how dangerous Alpha Ian is, He is our rival Alpha. Everyone used to say there was a rivalry between Apa Dane and him. But recently he decided to come to our pack. I wonder what his purpose is. Alpha Dane never felt the need to go to his pack. Then why does he suddenly want to come here?”

Cora’s lips curled into a smirk. “We are lucky to see him. We had only heard of him, just as his pack members had only heard of Alpha Dane. I doubt he is as attractive as our Alpha. But we can still give it a shot.”

Ava stopped chewing when she realized that she had spoken more than she should.

She swallowed her food and replied,

“No, I am not his fangirl. But in my opinion, he is a good man. If he trusts someone, he believes in them no matter what the situation is.”

All the women thought she was talking about the business. However, Alpha Dane knew what she was talking about. She was talking about an incident from six months ago.

His brown eyes looked away from her as he walked past the table. The women hurriedly got up
