"Evie, what do you think I should do now?"

I looked out of the window blankly, and my eyes became confused.

"Vaughn has been everything to me for so many years. Everything I have is around him, and now I don't have him. I feel that I have lost all my motivation. I don't know what I am living for now.

"Hollie, he's just a scumbag. It's better that you found out now. It'll be too late if you find out after you get married."

Evie sat beside me and gave me a comforting hug. I could see the heartache in her eyes.

"But my heart still hurts..."

I hugged Evie tightly. My tears had already dried up in the past few days, but the pain in my heart would not disappear no matter how hard I tried.

Evie dragged me out of bed and forced me to change my clothes and put on make-up.

I followed Evie to a shopping mall nearby and strolled through the women's clothing area.

I heard that this building was under Vaughn's company. When I thought that it had something to do with Vaughn, I instinctively wanted to resist, but I was held back by Evie.

Just as she was about to say something, the two people discovered me.

"Hollie, it's such a coincidence to run into you here. I didn't expect you to get over the break-up so soon. It's only been a few days and you're already in the mood to go shopping."

Seeing Vaughn and Laney, Evie finally understood why I tried to drag her away.

She walked in front of me and protected me behind her.
