Conrad pulled Wiona into his arms, pressing her against him.
He narrowed his eyes, not quite ready to give up. "Your back hurts?"
"Wiona, it seems you've been slacking on your fitness routine lately."
But despite his clear disappointment, he began to gently massage her lower back.
Before long, Wiona was so comfortable she drifted off to sleep.
Conrad looked at the sweet, peaceful expression on her face and then glanced down at his own body with a helpless sigh.
It was an addiction, touching her.
Every day, he wanted to lose himself in her completely.
"Perhaps I should have the Blue family's doctor prescribe you some health supplements tomorrow."
"Otherwise, you're going to be the death of me..."
Wiona, completely oblivious, just rolled over, turning her back to him, and slept even more soundly.
Conrad, on the other hand, felt his body tense up all over again.
It was going to be another very, very long night...
The next day, Wiona woke up to find that Conrad had already left for the Sullivan Group's branch office.
She glanced at the time. It was already nine o'clock.
It was her first night staying with the Blue family, and she had slept in so late. A wave of panic washed over her as she scrambled out of bed.
"It's over, it's over!"
My reputation!
Will my grandparents think I'm a total slob now?
Wiona quickly washed up, tied her hair into a ponytail, changed into a T-shirt and shorts, and hurried out the door.
In the courtyard, Molly and Rosa were playing with the twins.
Their faces broke into smiles when they saw her. "Wiona, you're awake."
"Grandma Julia sent someone over this morning to say you should sleep in."
