Divorced and Pregnant My New Life with a Billionaire Drives My Ex Crazy novel Chapter 623

When Wiona heard it was the Tucker family, she actually let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding. If it was just them and not Devin’s leftover crew, maybe things really weren’t so bad. She almost wanted to laugh at her thoughts, but all she could do was glance at Conrad.

Conrad, on the other hand, looked furious.

“The Tucker family. Fine,” he muttered, then pulled Wiona close and led her back inside.

“Take them away. Get every detail out of them,” he ordered the staff.

Finally, Wiona had a moment to sit down and eat something. Conrad just sipped his coffee and hurried off to the study, already deep into damage control.

When Wiona left the dining room, Summer was waiting for her, face pale and drawn. She rushed over, wringing her hands.

“Wiona, this is all my fault. I’m the one who brought this mess here.”

“We should have left last night,” Summer said, voice shaking.

Wiona shook her head gently. “You really think the Tuckers wouldn’t have pulled something like this if you’d left? Don’t worry. Conrad’s got it under control.”

But Summer looked miserable. “I don’t even know how I could ever make this up to you.”

Wiona gave her a reassuring smile. “If I told you to return Leo to the Tuckers right now, would you do it?”

Summer’s answer was instant. “Never!”

“Exactly,” Wiona said. “So since we’re already in this together, don’t worry about us. Conrad and I decided to help you from the start. We’re not afraid of a fight. Sure, it might get messy, but it’s not as bad as it seems. Come on, let’s go talk to Conrad.”

They headed to the study. Conrad was just hanging up the phone. Wiona heard him say, “...work together and strike back.”

She knocked lightly. “Conrad, how’s it going?”

He looked up, saw Summer, and didn’t hide a thing. He wanted her to know just how much she owed Wiona.

He waved them over to the sofa and didn’t waste any time. “They confessed. It was the Tucker family.”

“They tried to stir up trouble for the Sullivans, to make me back off. They wanted to show off their power and scare me into handing you over, Ms. Kutz, along with your son.”

“But they really underestimated me.”

You could still feel the anger rolling off him. When he talked about the Tuckers, his eyes were like ice.

Wiona was furious too. “So the Tuckers want a war. Conrad, is this going to be a problem?”

When he looked at her, his face softened. “Not at all.”

That night, Summer, Cassian, and Leo got on the Sullivans’ private jet. The whole thing was kept secret, and just like that, the Tucker family completely lost their trail.

When Scott found out, he lost it. He screamed through the house, breaking everything in sight. Summer and their son were gone, but the Sullivan Group’s lawyers kept pushing the divorce, relentless as ever. She’d given her lawyer full control, so she never had to see Scott again.

This time, Kason was going all in against Scott. Dozens of court notices and divorce papers landed in Scott’s mailbox every single day. It was obvious they wouldn’t stop until he snapped.

“Find her!” Scott yelled. “Turn the world upside down if you have to, just find her and bring her back to me!”

He tore his room apart, flipping over anything he could grab. Divorce was never what he wanted. Everything he’d said to Summer on the plane was just to stall her.

And now she’d really run off with their son. Disappeared, just like that.

Was she really planning to leave him for good?

“Summer, where do you think you can hide?” he shouted into the empty room. “I want you and our son back, now!”

All that noise caught Diane’s attention. She came in, leaning on her cane, and saw the mess he’d made. Her voice cut through the chaos.

“Get down on your knees.”
