When the Fisher siblings were young, the three brothers often got into trouble and therefore scolded or punished. On the other hand, Celine always got away unscathed.
Belinda glared at Celine coldly.
A wave of fear swept through her. She had no choice but to go to her brothers’ side and kneel unwillingly.
She scolded Hunter mentally for dragging her into the mess.
Never had she thought he would ask for money to hook up with other women. She had given him the money to relax while Mom was not around at the thought of how he had been restrained by Mom all these years.
However…
She felt wronged.
“Slap yourselves,” Belinda ordered.
Hunter was bitter. “Honey, my face is all swollen from the beating you gave me just now.”
“Are you going to do it yourself? Or should I do the honors?”
“I’ll do it myself. You don’t have to move, Honey. I’ll feel bad if you get tired or feel pain from hitting me.”
Hunter quickly slapped himself.
However, the hatred in his heart for the woman grew.
While he was older than his wife by two years, he had maintained his appearance well. He looked like he was in his fifties. He also had strong sexual desires, but Belinda disliked having sex after getting older. Besides, she was busy with work, so he had been celibate for some time.
Hunter was simply satisfying his desires out of their bedroom. Neither had he a mistress nor would he take other women home.
In contrast, Caroline had stood by her sisters-in-law unwaveringly despite the terrible things they did to her before. She would also comfort and stand up for them.
Emma caught Celine putting on an act and grabbed the chance to tell on her. She did not want Celine to be let off easily.
Belinda looked toward Celine.
Celine glared at Emma viciously.
“Cece, do you have no strength in your hands?” Belinda asked.
“Mom, I feel dizzy and weak all over. I think I might’ve caught a cold.” Celine pretended to look like she was about to faint.
The angry Belinda remained unmerciful. She instructed Emma, “Since Cece is feeling weak, you can give her a hand and ensure she learns her lesson.”
