Callum was not satisfied with the fleeting kiss, so he hugged Camryn and kissed her passionately.

After the kiss, Callum said, “I know you’re not a saint. I like your way of doing things. You’re just like me. We’re really meant for each other.”

Camryn was speechless.

When they heard footsteps, the couple let go of each other.

The butler walked in and approached the couple, reporting respectfully, “Ms. Camryn, I have sent someone to follow Carrie. After she left, she borrowed the security guard’s phone to make a call.”

The butler gave Camryn the phone number that was written on a piece of paper.

“Carrie called this number. They didn’t chat for too long.”

Camryn took the small piece of paper with Mrs. Clark’s new phone number written on it. She looked at it and asked, “Whose number is this? None of the Newmans use this number.”

She raised her head and said to the butler, “Keep an eye on Carrie’s whereabouts and who she comes into contact with. Don’t let her find out.”

Camryn was determined to find out who was the owner of this phone number.

The butler responded respectfully and quietly retreated, giving the couple some privacy.

Callum took the note from Camryn’s hand and said, “I’ll help you check who this number belongs to.”

“I can find out for myself.”

He picked up a small pastry and fed it to Camryn. He asked, “Is there anything you need to bring with you? I can help you pack.”

“You have everything at home. What else do I need to bring?”

Camryn and Callum were not married yet, but since they were engaged, Callum ensured that Camryn would have all her daily necessities in his houses as well as in Wildridge Manor.

Callum laughed again. “I’ll message my mother to tell her that you’re coming home with me. Every time you go over, my mother ignores me and only has eyes for her future daughter-in-law.”

Camryn smiled at the mention of her future in-laws because they were very kind to her.

Everyone in the York family was nice to her.

“Oh, by the way, I have some news for you. Alice Stone has given birth to a son. If you’re free tomorrow, we can visit her and the baby at the hospital. Nana said the baby is very cute.”
