Because of that, Yvonne was actually terrified of Ronald.
Regardless, no actual siblings acted like Uriah and Leslie. They claimed to just be family.
But if they walked down the street together, anyone who didn't know better would assume they were dating.
"Finley, you're asking for it," Uriah hissed.
To Uriah, Finley's last comment was an outright insult to their family bond.
He pulled his fist back, aiming straight for Finley's face.
However, Finley was quick. With a slight shift, he easily dodged the punch.
Uriah was like an enraged lion.
Finley immediately drove a solid kick into his knee. Uriah let out a muffled groan of pain, nearly collapsing to the floor.
Finley shoved his hands into his pockets. "This is a hospital, not a place for your tantrums. If you ever come here looking for her again, don't blame me for playing dirty."
Delivering the warning, Finley turned away, throwing one last contemptuous glance over his shoulder.
"Oh, and Tegan wasn't lying to you. She really has no say in this matter. You have to take it up with Stella."
Uriah gritted his teeth in fury. "Stella already said it's out of her hands."
Bringing up Stella only made things worse.
Just the mention of her name fueled his anger further.
"That just means she doesn't want to deal with it," Finley said. "Either way, Tegan can't make the call."
"Ronald's men are the ones keeping an eye on things. Do you really think Tegan has any sway with Ronald?"
And the only reason Ronald had men on it was entirely because of Stella.
Finley said this purely to stop Uriah from harassing Tegan.
Harassing her was pointless anyway.
As for Stella, if she said she couldn't help, then she couldn't. Let Uriah seethe over it.
"What about you?" Uriah demanded.
"Me?"
"You can get a word in with Mr. Quinn, can't you?"
Uriah spoke through clenched teeth.
