Crash-landed On An Island With Nine Beauties novel Chapter 173

"Please manager, forgive my Cousin. He didn't know what he was saying. He wasn't in his right mind. Please forgive him, ignore what he said. I'll take responsibility for everything. You can take the damages he has done out of salary or something. But please don't send him to the prison. He is the only family that I have. Please manager..."

The girl was on her knees, her palms clasped together as she rubbed both in plea. Her eyes were heavy, a hint that a flood was about to birthed by her eyes.

People were already gathered around them and the manager was already present too. Everyone was waiting for what the manager would say.

Damien was more interested in the girl. She was getting him mad by the way she was throwing herself at the manager in plea.

She was always like that. Trying to take the blame for everything. That was why she ended up being a waitress at such a place instead of being one of the top pilots across the world.

And he had come to surprise her. But now she's trying to bring back the old odds. It annoyed him and got very much on his nerves.

Left to him, if she kept doing that, he would be forced to beat everyone in that place to pulp... why? He had no reason. He just didn't want her to feel so terrible and bad anymore. He didn't want to watch her kiss up to any one. It was enough.

She was the daughter of his mom's sister. She was the only daughter and child. Her parents died early and she had to live with her aunt and aunt's husband, who met her with the same fate Damien went through.

But unlike Damien who was concerned the vessel of badluck, she was regarded as the fool of the house. She was made to do the dirty jobs and take the fall for everything.

When she was enrolled at the same school as the two children of her aunt. She thought it was the best thing. She had no idea that it was the politics of the family.

She wss forced to take the exams of the two kids. She hardly had time to study and prepare for her own exams. At the long run, she missed the chance to pass the core exams which would earn her the certificates she needed for her dream job. A pilot.

She tried several other ways but she found out that she wss being boycotted by her aunt. She had no idea how evil people could be. She later discovered that her aunt didn't want her to be at the same level as her own children. She wanted her to be wretched and be a low class while her children were upper-class.

In short, it was through the connections of her aunt that she got a job at such a restaurant. She thought the aunt did it because of the feeling of guilt. It was few days into work that she discovered the main reason behind it;

Her daughter was dating the manager of the restaurant. So, the girl was to serve the daughter whenever she came by. And guess what, she comes by every day.

In short,

"Hey, babe. What's all this about?"

Came the feminine voice from behind all of them. Damien's jaw dropped when he saw who it was. He couldn't believe his eyes.

"You!!!"

He called at her. When she saw him too her eyes widened. She couldn't believe her eyes.

"OMG! It's you. It's you."

She was so excited and elated to see him. It was the lady whom Damien helped back on the island. The lady who was treated like a trash and almost shot by the man whom Damien considered to be her husband.

He remembered that he killed the evil man. An action which the lady even blamed him for. The lady whom he spared the yacht which he could had stolen.

[Ping! She's a family relative.]

WHAT!

Damien was lucky not to had screamed this out loud. Why would the system throw something like that at him. In such circumstance.

To think that she was related to him was insane. But he wasn't so surprised. Not many of his relatives wanted to meet the vessel of badluck. So, many of them didn't know him in person. Since they never met him.

"What's happening here. What are you doing here?"

She asked Damien out of enthusiasm. When the manager noticed that things were starting to get interesting; that this strange lad had a connection with his wife.

He turned to the people,

"Sorry for the inconveniences dearest customers. If you would excuse us please."

To Damien,

"Please to my office."

The manager led the way with his wife. Damien followed behind with the girl.

"Do you know her?"

The girl asked him.

"Looks like you do know her too."

He replied. She nodded.

"My aunt's daughter."

The conception in his mind earlier made things easier for Damien. It was strange now that he could get to the root of a matter without having to search for it or making a request to know it.

Not one of the three wasn't stupefied. It was as though their ears were playing tricks.

"I don't have much time. Send your account number to her, she'd pay."

Damien nodded at the girl who didn't know what to say.

"Me...?"

"She would pay??"

The lady cackled.

"I don't mean to be rude, but she hasn't even seen a million dollar in her entire life. Though I'm not proud to say it, she's like my cousin."

The lady gloated.

"Please excuse us."

The girl wanted to pull Damien out when her phone buzzed.

DING! CREDIT ALERT: $1 000 000 000 000

Words could not tell how stunned she was. But when she looked back up, he wasn't there.

When next he arrived, he was at the door of the hotel room which he rented outside the Boldyville estate.

When he walked in, he saw Matthew standing in the middle of the living room. He was going to speak when Matthew walked to him and handed him an envelope.

He looked at the address;

LETTER OF RESIGNATION.

When he looked back up, Matthew bowed and walked past him, towards the door...
