Crash-landed On An Island With Nine Beauties novel Chapter 170

"What did you just say?"

Ayisha turned to Evelyn who was trying so hard to avoid the searching eyes of the former.

"Don't give me that look away thingy."

Ayisha snapped and Evelyn had no choice but to look at the determined Ayisha.

"I know it sounds really brainless..."

Eveltn tried to defend herself. That was the only technique she could think of at that moment. Ayisha shook her head slowly. It was quite hard to tell what was going through her mind.

They were in an elevator, descending.

Evelyn's face which was pure and mild suddenly stiffened up and her eyebrows cocked. Ayisha was intrigued by the sudden change.

"That was why I never wanted to talk about it. I didn't want to talk about to any of you, because of something like this. I knew I could never avoid it."

She took a pause, not for a moment easing the heat sizzling her face.

"But I thought you were different. I thought you were more mature than the rest, that was why I decided to take you with me. But then it seemed as though I was thinking too highly of you."

Evelyn rolled her eyes, looking away more determinedly from Ayisha.

"If I had known, I would had chosen Claire instead."

She muttered to the steel wall of the elevator, having no intention to gaze upon Ayisha again.

"By the way, the elevator is about to come to a stop. You can as well take it and return to the rest. I'll handle this by myself."

Ayisha wanted to speak, but whenever she thought the talkative Evelyn had stopped, then would a new row be pushed out. But this time it seemed as though the audience had been achieved.

"Which of words said that I doubted you?"

She scolded Evelyn, who though didn't want to look but was left with no choice.

"Tell me. When did I say that you made no sense? Tell me which of my words said so?"

Ayisha was the one raising her voice now. Though her voice weren't too loud, but the atmosphere which permeated the tone told more tale of an edge.

"Didn't you question me? Isn't that the same?"

Evelyn defended. Ayisha wanted to take it on but realised that she would never get to the root of the matter if they kept the conversation going in that direction.

"I don't take you for a fool. In short I consider you as one of the smartest in the group. Unlike some of the girls who feigns to be, you show it. You are perceptive and smart. Why did you think that I decided that you joined our group back on the island?"

Evelyn's wild gaze was beginning to tone down. The glare was slowly turning into a stare. From frown to an expression caught between smile and stern gaze.

"You never chose me. I decided."

She sneered at Ayisha who chuckled.

"It's not funny."

She pouted, folding her arms over her tits like a little girl.

The elevator came to a stop and they walked out.

"Which direction. Where exactly is he? Did he check into a room or --- I mean, how do we find him?"

It appeared that Ayisha was more interested than Evelyn. Though the former had her own ways of concealing her emotions and vulnerabilities.

"I thought you never wanted to be a part of it."

It was quite funny that Evelyn was still holding unto the old feelings.

"Come on we don't have time for this. You know too well that Damien doesn't joke with timing."

Ayisha left Evelyn standing, and walked on. Evelyn kept a stare on her for a while. Perhaps she was trying to get to the root of something.

"Like she knows where we are headed to."

Evelyn called at her. She took the opposite direction and Ayisha turned back.

"Do you know where we are headed to?"

Ayisha called, trying to catch up.

"It's in the letter you dummy. Do you think I would set out if I have no idea?"

"Who knows? After all, no one knew what you were looking for when you saw him..."

Evelyn halted at Ayisha's remark. She had her fat glare seating gracefully again in her beautiful face. It seemed as though she needed to be taught the ignoring skill.

Ayisha, instead of taking responsibility for her words, poked her tongue out to Evelyn who became even more angry.

"Better don't stand there."

Ayisha giggled as she walked on.

"It's good to see that there is someone protecting my little baby."

He bit his lower lip ogling Evelyn. For some reason, Evelyn was melting inside of her but kept the tough face.

"Stop beating around the bush. We have something important to do!"

Ayisha snapped. Damien really couldn't tell why Ayisha was so worked up. He used to think that she was one of the girls that wouldn't be surprised even if she found him on another woman.

"I called Evelyn to make something clear."

The glare in Evelyn's face was corrupted by a shade of curiosity and a hint of anxiousness. He continued.

"That doesn't change anything. I own the nine of you. Having a girlfriend doesn't change that fact. And..."

He put up one of his fingers...

"...you'll see me around often."

He advanced towards Evelyn had pecked her on the cheek. He walked to Ayisha and pretended as though he would kiss her in the lips.

He scoffed and turned away,

"She even wanted a kiss..."

He cackled as he walked on, away from them.

"You jerk! Hey!!! Stop there! You bastard!!!"

Ayisha yelled, walking briskly towards him. Evelyn hurried to grab her arm.

"Let him go."

"No, I should teach him lesson. That fool deserves a beating... After cheating on us he had the got to do that... and what? I want to kiss him? No, I want to like your butthole you frosted asshole!!!"

A thud from behind her made her take a pause. When she turned. It was Evelyn on the floor; she had shoved her hand when Evelyn tried to hold her arm.

"OH baby... I'm sorry."

She rushed to her aid.

"I'm fine."

Evelyn said. Ayisha could take a second to look towards Damien's direction. She saw him walk into an elevator. Their eyes meet, he blew her a kiss then chuckled...
