Crash-landed On An Island With Nine Beauties novel Chapter 145

The pieces of the enormous monster, which were thrown everywhere by the wild force and impact, sank into the bottom of the ocean.

And then there was a stillness. A kind of stillness which was never envisaged. The gentles calls of the seagulls from distance ceased too.

There were sparkles of light in the air which began to fade away.

The shield which held in Giya was hovering over the ocean in a reasonable height away from the impact.

Point in time, the shield which held in the girls floated towards Giya's at once.

The cold and numbness of the day sent chills down their spines, and none of the girls could utter a word.

So enough they snapped out...

"Where is he?"

"Where did he go?"

"Where the fuck is Damien?"

The girls lashed out at the little girl who was equally as confused as they were.

"You were here with him. What happened to him?"

The shield of the girls was brushing sides with Giya's, so the latter couldn't pretend not to hear them.

"He went in..."

Giya said softly.

"Huh?"

"Went in?"

"What do you mean by that?"

"Hey, talk to me!!!"

Claire had the loudest voice amongst the girls.

"Hey, take it easy on her. You can't get words out of her that way. By yelling."

Mira schooled. None of the girls was indifferent at that moment. They all looked shaken and scared. It was strange to see them share the same stance at a particular period of time.

Earlier, they would have been in partition. While a part wants in, the other would want out. As strange as it was, it was soothing to see.

"Please tell me what happened to him. We heard an explosion. Don't tell me that ---"

"Yes. He sacrificed himself. He dived into the mouth of the monster."

Giya explained, looking away from the girls.

"No, no way!"

"He couldn't do that!"

"Is he crazy?!"

"Look at this little shit."

Everyone was stunned by Laurette's attack on Giya.

"Did y'all see the way she said those words coldly? Like it didn't mean anything."

She walked towards the wall of the shield, trying to force her way through if she could.

"Is that how you talk about someone who saved you? A little girl like you should be crying after seeing something that terrific. How could you speak so cold--"

"Laurette! Come to your senses. What do you think you are doing?"

That was Ayisha staking a stance.

"Do you think you are talking to one of us? She's a little girl. How dare you talk to her that way?"

Laurette grunted in displeasure, she glared at the girl again.

"Did he tell you anything when he went in?"

Ayisha asked Giya who still wore the innocent face.

"It doesn't matter what he told me. But I can be sure he will be back. He told me that he was the man of his words. And he has promised to keep me safe. I haven't seen a guardian angel die on his client."

The girls jaws dropped at how freely and boldly the girl spoke. You would think that they were trying to see themselves in her. She spoke with such maturity and clarity. It was alluring and beautiful.

"Damien!!!"

Evelyn didn't seem to care what was happening with the girls. She kept on calling on his name.

"Join me... he might be out there... somewhere."

She called at the rest of the girls who came on,

"Damien!!!"

They called, looking all around.

"That bastard won't wait to be a father? He would leave me alone to bear this burden? I'll beat the hell out of him..."

That was Jada, her eyes were growing red and her voice breaking.

"How are we supposed to know if he is inside the water? We are useless."

"We can't even leave this prison."

"How can we go search for him?"

"Damien!!!!"

They kept on calling and bickering. None of them could find an answer to the confusion yet.

"Damien... Damien!!!"

Damien felt really mad at what she had just said to him. He wanted to beat some sense into her, but he dared not. He knew he couldn't bring himself to it.

Perhaps he was feeling so pissed off because there was an iota of truth in what she had just said about him. Perhaps she had studied him and was able to draw such closely accurate inference on who he was generally. But he wasn't seeing it that way.

He was thinking of a strategy, a plot to make her pay for those fat words of hers when...

[Ping! Host rid the ocean of the 3000 years old Ljorde and gained 200 system gems and one Colonbrum.]

"What! What the fuck!!!"

He exclaimed in happiness! Sweeping away every of the traces of rage in him.

"Claire, that was too much."

"Why would you say that to him?"

"He is mad now!"

"Can you take it when he ---"

Damien jumped up at once, punching the air in glee. The girls who had misconceived his reason for shouting were stunned.

"What's the matter with him?"

"I don't think he's in his right mind."

Damien stopped jumping and punching, then took in a deep breath. He shook his head then gulp. He licked his lower lip then pursed it.

"200 gems? What the fuck! Did the system take my wish seriously? Waah.... this is killing me."

He muttered. Then suddenly he noticed a wave of strange silence hit him. He snapped back to reality. The girls were gawking at him. He felt awkward.

SHIT! NO WAY I LET MY GUARD DOWN. THEY WON'T TAKE ME SERIOUSLY ANYMORE.

NO THAT CAN'T HAPPEN.

WHAT SHOULD I DO? WHAT SHOULD I DO?

OH, YES. THAT'S RIGHT!

He knitted his face to a freezing frown, toning his eyes dark, sans emotions and love.

"Let's go to Vegas."

He said coldly then turned away from them, breaking the shield open.

EXCHANGE A SYSTEM GEM FOR THE MOST COSTLIEST AND BEAUTIFUL YACHT IN THE ENTIRE WORLD.

Those were his last words, and the yacht grew out of the resting water.

The girls gasped.
