Crash-landed On An Island With Nine Beauties novel Chapter 140

[Ping! Save the hurt girl. Safe word, GUARDIAN ANGEL.]

THIS FUCKING SYSTEM. GIVING A TASK AT THE FACE OF DEATH!

"Damien! Don't just stand there. Do something. Do something!"

Evelyn called again.

WHY IS THIS FOOL SO LOUD?!

He didn't for once look towards her, let alone break eyes from the yacht. He kept track of every of the moment. He didn't want to miss a single detail.

"Damien!!!"

He had shut the noise of the girls out. His mind in one place.

They all watched as the yacht drove straight into the jaws of the Ljorde. The manner at which the yacht was crushed, it seemed like the Ljorde was feasting on brisket bone.

It looked so easy and smooth.

Point in time, he saw a kid being thrown into the air at the force, then falling towards the mouth of the insatiable monster.

"Dissolve!!!"

He called and out of the box-like shield he went, zooming with the speed of the wind. If he had hesitated a second longer, he would had lost the kid.

Even for the fact that he travelled so fast, all he could hold unto was the little arm of the kid. He pushed his body up at one, else he would be compromising his own leg.

He held unto the little girl. She kicked at his chest, trying to fight free but he held unto her. He didn't know what to think, yet he couldn't risk letting go of the girl.

He watched the last particle of the yacht devoured by the jaws of the merciless monster. He felt a chill down his spines.

"This could had happened to me and the girls if there was no system?"

The thought was provoking and unappealing.

"This is more than a monster. It is a nightmare."

He knew too well that dreading his opponent was no good thing. It would only discourage him... the first step to losing.

He couldn't keep looking. The girl also had stopped fighting him. He zoomed to the shield of the nine girls.

"Absorb me."

He called.

[Ping! Access denied. The shield takes in only nine nether ones. Breach of Host's request.]

Damien understood what the system meant. He couldn't feign ignorance.

He turned away from the shield.

"Exchange a system gem for an accessible yet impregnable and comfortable shield."

[Ping! Host cannot get all features at a time. Two features at a time.]

FUCKING BITCH OF A SYSTEM.

He cussed.

"Exchange a system gem for an accessible and impregnable shield."

Having specified the details, the system had the shield cooked up.

"But it has no doors!"

Damien complained.

"How the fuck am I supposed to access it?"

He pushed his frame closer and closer to the shield.

"Could it be?"

Something interesting occured to him. He got close enough to the shield. When his idle hand made a contact with the transparent wall, it went through; unlike the other shields which grew around him, this grew out of the air, at his front.

"Oh cool."

He was glad. He pushed through the wall of the shield and was absorbed. He put the little girl down.

"Hey... are you alright?"

The blonde girl couldn't look up at him. He slowly reached out his hand to her chin, to gently push up her head.

"Hey... you are safe... you don't have to ---"

The girl grabbed that hand and put her teeth to it, making a huge feast of his flesh. Damien felt no pain. He was waiting for her to exhaust her rage first.

When she seemed to had had enough, she let go of his hand and slowly looked up at him.

"You are safe... you are safe..."

He assured her, slowly putting his palm to her cheek. She flinched in fear.

"No harm will come to you... I'm your guardian angel."

The blue eyes of the girls lit up. Her pale face had a ray of strange light which lit it up.

"Guardian angel?"

He raised his voice,

"Public announcement. I'm not sure how long this will take us... how long it will take to destroy that bastard. So..."

"You mean we won't eat?"

"We'll keep hanging in the air?"

"What if this stuff break and we fall into the water?"

"Your luck then."

He said coldly, then turned away from them.

"How could he say that?"

"He is so annoying!"

"I hate him."

Then he turned back to them. When he did, they shuddered. He smirked.

YES! THAT'S RIGHT! THAT FUCKING RESPECT!

"Jada, don't be worried. For the sake of my unborn son, you're my priority."

He assured, stealing a wild smile then turned away.

"That crazy psycho."

"I just want to beat him."

"That's soo cool. He's soo cool."

He pushed himself out of the shield, sword growing out of his hand.

"Hiyah!!!"

He charged at the monster.

"Damien!!!"

He heard the girls call...

DIDN'T THEY SAY THEY HATE ME?

He scoffed.
