Crash-landed On An Island With Nine Beauties novel Chapter 132

"Is this how you do business?!"

Damien lashed out as soon as he saw Mr Clint. He should be impressed by the height and charisma of the man, but he didn't fear shit. Why should the man who had killed a giant polar bear cower before a normal and ordinary human being?!

"You shouldn't speak so disrespectfully to my boss. I didn't mind when you did to me, but I would never seat back and ---"

"Are you mad!!!"

It was as though thunder resounded in the room. Elisa shuddered at the voice. Even Damien was quite stunned.

"How dare you speak so casually and rudely to our guest?!!! Do you want to die?! Where is the professionalism we munch?!!!"

Mr Clint's face was wild, eyes mean. His eyes brows were cocked and his jaws stiffened.

Elisa was too shocked to speak. Her hands were shaking so heavily. It would be reasonable if she piss or shit her pants at that moment.

When Mr Clint looked away from her to Damien, a strange smile sat in his face.

"Forgive my staff. She must be so hungry that she can't think straight. Perhaps for a moment, she thought you for one of her inferiors."

Damien found himself nodding at the man. For some reason which he couldn't tell, he felt really drawn to Mr Clint. He felt like he could be friends with someone so mature and successful. Someone who could draw a line between anger and work in the blink of an eye.

Of all the shitty experiences he had had since he came to the place, he was impressed by this.

"You should do better next time."

Damien turned away from him and walked to seat in the couch. Mr Clint followed him and settled opposite him in another single couch.

"Miss Elisa... why didn't you serve our guest one of our best delicacies? At least he should have a taste of what he would be eating after the transaction."

Mr Clint called at Elisa. Before Elisa could speak, Damien came on,

"I wasn't hungry. I told her not to bother."

Elisa was really surprised to hear Damien defend her. Damien didn't look at her.

"I thought you would be coming here with the other co-owners of the hotel. Why are you the only one here? The rest couldn't make it?"

Damien was quite curious about a lot of things. But of course, he had heard about four voices over the laptop and had expected about four people.

"Something came up. I would be handling the business for today. You should worry about only me and not them."

There was a rich smile in the man's face again. Damien nodded.

"Before we do a business with anyone, it's a custom to know what work you do. We don't want the government haunting either of us for selling a company, especially an exceptional estate like this, to someone who's involved in shady businesses."

Of course Damien could see sense in what the man had said.

"It's called Nether Industrial Haven."

That was the name the system had suggested in his mind.

"That sounds quite remote. Is it a new company?"

"If I understand correctly, you mean you are acquainted with all the companies across the globe?"

Mr Clint chuckled at his question.

"Everyone who reads should. I mean you could find anything you want up on G****e. And, if the owner of a company, who wants to buy Boldyville Estate, is not on the industrial list then, I have no idea who else would."

Damien realized that Mr Clint was a very smart one. He couldn't play the man for a fool. Plus he didn't have much time to think of something else to say.

Damien's instinct and its reflexes were top-notch. He didn't even need to think.

"What do you say about a businessman who owns an island that bleeds several tons of red gold? What justice would the industrial list or Forbes do to such a man?"

Damien chuckled then added,

"I know you'd say more harm than good."

Mr Clint stood up, picked up the bottle of wine on the table.

"Sir... I'll do it..."

Elisa offered but Clint put up one his hands,

"It would be an insult to this refined and brilliant young man. Don't you think we are lucky to have a guest and client like him?"

Mr Clint poured into the empty glass of wine till it was halfway filled. Then he sat back down.

"If I get so much respect from an innovative man..."

Damien stood up, picking up the glass.

"I think it'll do no harm if we drink from the same glass."

He handed the glass to Mr Clint who took it. After taking about four sips, Mr Clint nodded towards Elisa who hurried to him.

She collected the glass.

"What are you waiting for?"

Mr Clint continued,

"And Mr Damien, the funny thing is that... the location of this estate is a super space. What I mean by that is that, every year, it's worth increases not by 2 to %10... but by %15. How beautiful eh?"

"What is the price?"

Damien seemed to had had enough of the hype.

"I'm sorry to bore you out with the details. I'll hit the nail on its head."

Damien's sixth sense tells him that Mr Clint had said all those to discourage him. To make him see the worth of the building, get scared and run away. But it only made him want it more.

"Myself and the other investors agreed on twenty trillion dollars, but because you seem like a great person, I'll give you seventeen trillion."

"It's quite cheap."

Damien said.

"What!"

Elisa couldn't hold back her word! Even Mr Clint didn't see that coming.

"You don't have to make a cut and offend your mates. If it's business, it's not worth it. Where do I sign?"

Mr Clint jumped on his feet.

"You mean you would pay twenty trillion dollars? You won't meet with your father or the investors of your company?"

Damien chuckled at how changed Mr Clint was.

"Bring the papers, Mr Clint."

Damien repeated. He could see in their eyes, the respect and awe they had for him. Things which only money could earn him!

"Go tell Shelton to bring the papers right away!!!"

Mr Clint ordered and Elisa scrambled off.

Damien should be excited that he had just bought Boldyville Estate, but he wasn't. Why should he? Buying Boldyville Estate was just to kickstart his world shopping...

"Here's the account details sir Damien..."
