“Temporary worker, come here.”
Lorenzo, with a serious look, commanded.
“Is something wrong?”
Jessica put down the Burr puzzle in her hand and came to Lorenzo.
“I didn’t say you were a temporary worker. Do you feel aggrieved?”
Lorenzo took her into his arms. His slender and well-jointed fingers lightly placed on her chin, making her have to look at him.
“I don’t have the leisure to play office games with my boss. You’ve got the wrong person.”
Jessica’s eyes flashed and she looked at Lorenzo.
“Playing office games? You have to put on an ultra-short and attractive professional dress to be considered dedicated. What do you mean by wearing pajamas?”
Lorenzo looked at her with a smile on his face, teasing her.
“Brute.”
Jessica couldn’t help but scolded him.
This man usually had a completely ascetic style. It seemed that he refused others and to be aloof from thousands of miles away. How could he act like this in private...
“First of all, I’m not a child anymore. Second, I’m a normal man.”
Lorenzo was once again laughed at by Jessica’s words. Even if he kept himself clean and never provoke any women, it didn’t mean that he didn’t even know about these as a mature man.
“I’m hungry. Feed me oatmeal.”
Lorenzo put the small bowl that the housekeeper handed him before and put it in Jessica’s hand.
Jessica couldn’t wait to put the whole bowl of porridge in his hand on his face to see how he could keep fussing.
She took a deep breath, filled a spoon full of it, and stuffed it directly into his mouth.
Lorenzo swallowed the porridge, stuck out his tongue and licked his thin lower lips.
“Are you full?”
Jessica looked at him.
“It’s more delicious than usual. Temporary worker with a fierce temper, do you have any bold ideas?”
Lorenzo took the bowl in his hand and put it on the shelf beside him.
“Any bold idea?”
Jessica didn’t respond for a while.
“According to the routine of ordinary TV dramas, when a woman faces such a handsome and rich man, she tries to wrap herself as a gift, ties a bow and takes the initiative to come to the man, dreaming that whether she can become that man’s wife by sleeping with him and to be the only one in his life?”
Lorenzo looked at her with a smile, rubbing his fingers against her delicate and smooth cheeks.
“Don’t mention it.”
Jessica blushed and stared at Lorenzo angrily.
“Lorenzo, your manor is spectacular. I saw a glass greenhouse. Why don’t we go there for dinner?”
Hana’s voice suddenly appeared not far from the two of them, and she sounded in a good mood.
“You must be hungry. There’s something you like tonight.”
Lorenzo didn’t even give Hana a look. He looked at Jessica and opened his mouth.
A very hostile voice came from outside the door.
“Well?”
Jessica opened the door and saw Hana’s face distorted with jealousy.
Hana couldn’t understand why the woman in front of her was wearing a mask of half a nine-tailed red fox. She must be very ugly, or she must a stunning beauty.
“There is a convenience store near the manor. We want the best quality one, do you understand?”
Hana raised her eyebrows and looked at Jessica with a smug look on her face.
“Who decides?”
There was a fleeting surprise in Jessica’s eyes. She spoke coldly.
“We need the articles for use for a men and a woman are together. I don’t need to say more about the rest, right? Just do what you’re told. Don’t bullshit!”
Hana pretended to be the mistress.
“You may have a bit of beauty, but men like hot women. You are just like a stunted daylily. You look distasteful, so don’t wish for luck and marry an excellent man like Lorenzo.”
“I’m not responsible for helping you buy such private things. Since it’s for your own use, you two can buy them yourself.”
Jessica was too lazy to pay attention to Hana and turned to leave.
“Go buy a set and come back, and we will be very happy. You go and come back quickly.”
Hana patted the door panel impatiently, urging Jessica.
Jessica listened to Hana’s words, and she felt as if a knife were piercing her heart. She was afraid from the bottom of her heart that this would really happen.
