"Get up sleepy head" I felt something poked on my cheeks followed by the low whisper. I groaned and tried to remove the thing from my face. What's that?

Then I heard a chuckled "still not waking up? Are you that tired baby?"

"What is it?" I mumbled frowning.

"It's almost noon sweetheart" hot breath slapped the skin of my ear making me open my eyes immediately. A pair of beautiful dominating eyes were gazing at me with a small smile.

"You are up" Hardwick grinned.

"What?" I rubbed my eyes.

I frowned and tried to sit on bed but suddenly pain shot my body making me stiff for a moment. I hissed, biting my lips.

"What happened? Are you alright?" Hardwick's panicked voice rang as he held me in his arms.

Raising my head I threw a hard glare at him. It's all his fault. It was my first time last night but looking at his man, he didn't let me sleep for a moment. He didn't stop until I lost the last drop of my strength and finally passed out in his arms.

"It's all your fault" I pushed him away but then winced in pain. My body is aching so badly like a truck has just smashed my body over and over again. It felt like my bones had turned into jelly, losing all its strength.

Hardwick gave me an odd smile before rubbing the back of his neck. He looked nervous all of a sudden "I am sorry. "Shut up" I gared as I hooked my arms around his neck "where are you taking me?"

"To bathe" he walked towards the bathroom.

"I want to rest"

"You will but you should clean your body first so that you will feel fresh" he replied as he walked inside the bathroom. The bath water was already ready and he gently put me in the bathtub. When the warm water touched my skin I sighed in content. It felt so good. I cannot help it but moaned in pleasure.

"Feeling good?" He whispered in my ear. He squatted down beside the tub and looked at me with a gentle smile playing on his lips.

"Thank you so much" I smiled at him.

"I have prepared the water ready in advance. I think the temperature is just right" he dipped his finger checking the water.

"You prepared it?" I was surprised.

He smiled "why not? I know you are sore. So the water will help you relax a bit. Since I was the one who caused this pain, I should be the one to make it go away"

I chuckled at his words. Can I ever get such a caring and loving mate? It still felt like a dream for me. To get a second chance to live and to understand what love is. All of these things are wonderful.

"What are you thinking?"

I shook my head "I am just thinking how lucky I am got get such treatment"

I smiled "I am looking forward for it then"

"I need to leave the pack for some work. By the time I return I hope you will be all good"
