Hearing Theodore’s voice, Cynthia called out, “Theo, is that you? Are you outside?*

“Why? We need to clear things up. No matter what Cynthia told you, I’m telling you now that I was the one who arranged today’s lunch. Neither Cynthia nor Rose knew that the other was invited.”
