Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 814

"You... you..." Aurora felt her blood boil. "You're too much! You really are a jerk!"

Theodore sneered indifferently, "You're just realizing that now? I've always been a jerk. Otherwise, why would my ex-wife divorce me? This is reality. You're not even worthy of being her substitute."

Aurora bit her lip hard, tears streaming down her cheeks. She felt utterly shattered.

She never expected that even after compromising so much, this man could still be so cruel. It was over before it had even begun.

She shouldn't have humiliated herself. She shouldn't have.

In her fury, Aurora angrily took off the suit jacket she was wearing and threw it at him.

"You're utterly shameless, Theodore! I hate you!" she cried before turning and running away.

Theodore didn't stop her. He casually dusted off the suit jacket and draped it over his arm.

The sound of her footsteps grew more and more distant.

Suddenly, a scream came from behind him.

Hearing the sound, Theodore immediately turned around. Not far away, two women had collided and fallen to the ground.

Seeing Aurora on the ground, he quickly rushed over. As he got closer, he realized the person Aurora had collided with was none other than Cynthia.

Theodore was taken aback.

Both women were still on the ground, not having gotten up yet. Aurora was clutching her chest, looking like she was unwell.

Theodore hurriedly stepped forward and helped Aurora up. "Are you okay? Are you feeling unwell?"

Aurora's face looked particularly exhausted. She shook her head. "I'm fine."

"And who is this woman? Why are you two so close?"

"She's a friend of mine," Theodore replied. "She's sick, so I came to the hospital to see her."

His tone was casual, with little emotion. He hadn't expected to run into Cynthia here.

"A friend?" Cynthia's sharp gaze landed on Aurora. "Why don't I know her?"

Cynthia knew most of the people in Theodore's circle, but this was the first time she had seen Aurora.

Noticing Cynthia's hostile expression, Aurora was equally curious. She mustered up the courage to step forward and introduce herself. "Hello, my name is Aurora. You are?"

Seeing this woman act so politely, Cynthia felt disdain. Aurora, huh? Why was she pretending to be friendly?

A sense of unease rose in Cynthia's heart. Whether it was her aura or her appearance, why did this woman remind her of Rosalie?
