When the servant pushed a door open, Rosalie was shocked to see someone kneeling on the ground.

It was Laila!

Laila was tied up with a rope and severely injured, but she was still alive. The moment she saw Rosalie, she screamed in agitation, “Rose, save me! Save me!”

The servant said, clearly frightened, “Mrs. Carter, there was a note found on her.”

The servant handed the note to Rosalie.

“She’s my aunt. I’m bringing her to the hospital,” Rosalie said.

After Yvonne accompanied Rosalie for a check-up, the doctor looked through the report with furrowed brows.

The doctor said, “Your cervical length is only 2.5 centimeters, which is shorter than usual. The fetus’s heartbeat isn’t stable, either. We need to do further tests.”

“What kind of tests do I need to do?” Rosalie asked nervously.

The doctor said, “We’ll first assess your cervical length and conduct cervical screening. We have to thoroughly understand the current state of your cervix. If the test results indicate that you require further treatment, you’ll have to undergo amniocentesis and monitor the fetus condition.”
