Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 1418

Sunlight streamed through the window, casting a glow on Sebastian's pale face.

The curtains fluttered in the breeze. The nurse walked to the window and closed it.

The doctor stood by the bed, explaining the situation to Sebastian. "Mr. Carter, you need plenty of rest given your current condition."

Sebastian was filled with resentment. He coldly asked, "Will my quality of life decrease in the future?"

Sebastian emphasized the word "life," clearly indicating that he was referring to more than just his general existence.

The doctor understood. "Mr. Carter, with proper treatment and regular check-ups, after enduring the long recovery period, your quality of life will be close to what it was before."

"How long is this recovery period?"

The doctor replied, "At least six months before you can resume marital relations."

Upon hearing this, Sebastian clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. His eyes burned with fury.

He hadn't expected Rosalie to pull such a stunt on him. She had been pretending to please and obey him, and he had thought she would serve him well. But instead, she had bitten him.

What was worse, she hadn't bitten just anywhere—she had clearly intended to cripple him!

She was such a vicious woman. He never imagined she was capable of something like this!

"I understand," Sebastian replied coldly. "You can leave now."

"Alright. If you need anything, just call me."

The doctor and nurse left the room.

A few days later, Sebastian was discharged from the hospital.

He now needed to rest at home, and the long recovery period lay ahead.

His grip was so tight that Rosalie's face turned red.

Sebastian slapped her face away.

"You're wicked! I've been so good to you, and this is how you repay me. You almost crippled me!"

Rosalie didn't argue. Sebastian was completely unaware of his issues.

Sebastian sat on the edge of the bed, his hands resting on his knees. His breathing was heavy as he said, "Rosalie, just wait! Once I'm recovered, I'll make you regret this."

"Go ahead. Kill me." Rosalie sneered.

"Kill you? Rosalie, have you forgotten? I can kill Theodore and your son anytime. You've really pissed me off..."

"Then go ahead and kill them," Rosalie retorted. "Call your subordinates now, have them do it, and then send me a video."
