Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 1324

Theodore sighed softly; he was about to say something when suddenly, he noticed Justin's fingers move.

Theodore opened his mouth, ready to tell Rosalie, but the words were stuck in his throat. In the next few seconds, he didn't utter a single word.

He looked at Rosalie's dazed expression, and after a moment of hesitation, he seemed to have made up his mind. He immediately extended his finger and pressed it to Justin's neck.

"What are you doing?" Rosalie asked, her voice trembling. "Don't touch him!"

"He's still alive," Theodore immediately replied. "He still has a pulse. You can check for yourself."

Theodore took Rosalie's hand and placed it on Justin's neck. She felt the faint pulse under her fingers.

Rosalie was astonished. "He... He's still alive…"

"Justin, Justin!" She tried to wake him.

Theodore quickly said, "Get him to the hospital, now!"

A few people immediately rushed over and hurriedly lifted Justin.

Rosalie climbed to her feet and followed them. "Be careful with him!"

All of a sudden, she fell to the ground.

Theodore quickly stepped forward to support her. Sebastian caught her at the same time. Each of them supported one of her arms, but Rosalie shook them off, stumbling as she chased after Justin.

Sebastian, filled with rage, shot a furious glare at Theodore. "Theodore, you're such an idiot. If Justin survives, you'll regret it!"

-

Over ten hours later, Justin was sent to the intensive care unit.

He hadn't died; the bullet had lodged in his skull.

Rosalie's nose tingled, and tears the size of pearls fell from her eyes.

Theodore immediately took out a handkerchief from his pocket and gently wiped her tears.

At that moment, she signaled the nearby medical staff, and soon a doctor and a nurse walked over. The nurse pushed a medical cart to Rosalie, and together with the doctor, treated the wound on her hand.

It was somewhat painful, and Rosalie endured it. Theodore gently wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

After bandaging her wrist, the medical staff pushed the cart away.

"Rose, let me take you home so you can take a shower, rest for a while, and have some dinner. You need to regain your strength before you can come back to see him, okay?" Theodore coaxed.

"No, I want to stay with him."

As soon as the thought of leaving came up, Rosalie became agitated.
