Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 1311

Yerick smirked. "You'll see him soon enough. Something even more interesting will happen then."

Yerick turned and slammed the door shut.

Rosalie collapsed on the ground and burst out crying in misery.

Theodore's hands and legs were bound to the wall. He turned to look at Wesley, who was even more grievously injured than he was.

However, it was clear that Yerick didn't want Wesley dead, as he had Wesley's wounds treated.

Wesley slowly stirred awake and saw Theodore looking at him when he opened his eyes. Guilt flashed past his eyes as he apologized, "I'm sorry for getting you into this mess, Theo."

Theodore scoffed. "Dad, I remember you scolding me that my philandering ways caused Grandma's death. The truth is, your philandering ways were the root cause."

"You're right, it was my fault. I'm sorry for blaming you back then," Wesley said sorrowfully.

Theodore couldn't help but feel disgusted with his father. "How many other women did you have? How many times did you betray Mom?"

"I was too rebellious back then. I didn't want to marry your mom, but your grandmother forced me to. To express my resistance, I…" Wesley leaned weakly against the wall as he went on, tilting his head, "It's too late to say all these. I really regret my actions. I brought harm upon our family."

"Dad, everyone in the Spencer family is either dead or injured. Yerick has achieved what he set out to do."

"What's the point of asking that? Yerick's heart is filled with hatred, driving him to destroy our family and make us suffer. If my heart is filled with hatred too, who should I destroy? From a certain perspective, I can understand him. I know what happened to him. If I had experienced that myself, I might be filled with hatred, too. The despicable are to be pitied, and that certainly goes to describe Yerick."

Wesley sighed. "When I found out that Yerry was my son, I wanted to make it up to him. I wanted to give him all my fatherly love, but I didn't expect him to hate me so deeply. I didn't even have a chance to make things up to him. What should I do to make it up to him?"

Yerick was standing outside the door with a tray of food, overhearing their conversation.

His face didn't show much emotion, but his eyes were bloodshot, looking as though blood was on the verge of trickling down.

He started coughing profusely again. Theodore and Wesley immediately turned wary when they heard his bout of coughing.
