Theodore also sensed that something was wrong. Things had gone too smoothly.
Justin immediately stepped forward and removed the cap, mask, and sunglasses from the man's head—only to discover that this person was not Yerick at all. The man was sweating profusely, looking at them with fear in his eyes.
"I was hired to come here. I don't know anything! I don't know anything!"
Justin and Theodore exchanged glances, both realizing they had been tricked.
Yerick was indeed cunning.
At that moment, an ear-piercing noise suddenly came through their earpieces. Theodore and Justin immediately took them off.
Then, Theodore's phone rang. He took out his phone. It was an unknown number. He answered the call immediately.
"Theodore, you really outdid yourself. Do you think you can catch me by using that idiot Cynthia?"
Theodore snarled coldly, "Yerick, what exactly do you want? Tell me what you want, and I'll fulfill your request. Just let Rose and my dad go."
"Oh, so you know your dad is in my hands." Yerick laughed. "But I don't want to let them go."
"Then what do you want? You must want something."
"You're right. I do want something; something huge. The real show hasn't even begun."
"Where's Rose? If you lay a hand on her, I will tear you apart!"
"Theodore, you're so funny. You almost killed Rosalie before, and now you're worried about me hurting her? Do you even deserve to worry about that? Justin probably has every right to be concerned, though."
Theodore looked at Justin.
Yerick hung up.
With a loud bang, Theodore slammed his phone onto the ground, gritting his teeth. "Yerick, I will never let you get away with this!"
Justin stepped forward and asked, "What do you plan to do with this woman? Kill her?"
"Heh." Theodore sneered. "Killing her would be a waste of my bullets. From now on, she'll spend the rest of her life in prison, sharing a cell with Aurora and Angie. Those three wicked women can fight each other."
Justin only grunted in response.
At that moment, Theodore suddenly remembered something. "Vincent, do you love Rose?"
Justin was taken aback.
"We're both men. Tell me the truth. But even if you don't, I already know the answer," Theodore said.
"Since you already know, why ask? Of course, I love her," Justin replied. "Otherwise, why would I even be by her side?"
Theodore smiled bitterly. "Although you love Rose and I know you're a good person, you're still dangerous."
