Theodore thought he was dreaming.
His hands were trembling as he held the documents. He repeatedly examined the pregnancy test report and the DNA test report.
The result showed that Steve was his biological son.
What on earth was going on?
The pregnancy test report was from a year and a half ago, but the DNA test report was from just a week ago.
How could this be?
"Mr. Spencer, are you alright?" The assistant noticed Theodore's abnormal behavior and was somewhat concerned. He didn't dare look at the contents of the documents, as this was Theodore's mail.
"My phone. Where's my phone?" Theodore asked.
"Mr. Spencer, your phone was destroyed in the car accident. I'll get you a replacement."
"Wait. Give me your phone. Quickly!"
"Okay." The assistant immediately handed his phone to Theodore.
Theodore knew Rosalie's number by heart, of course. He quickly dialed it.
"Sorry, the number you've dialed is currently unavailable. Please try again later."
Was her phone turned off?
The mail showed it was sent by Rosalie, but why wasn't she answering his call now?
So much time had passed. If Steve really was his child, it meant Rosalie had been pregnant before they divorced. But why hadn't she told him?
Even if she hadn't told him back then, Steve had been born. So much time had passed—Steve had grown so much, and he had spent so much time with Steve. Why hadn't Rosalie told him?
Was the child really his? Was this DNA test result real or fake?
If Rosalie wanted to keep this from him, why would she give him these reports? What was her intention?
Theodore felt like he was in a fog. He tried to sort through the events that happened mentally.
If the child was indeed Sebastian's, then why had Sebastian divorced Rosalie so easily, allowed the child to take the surname Young, and didn't fight for custody?
This wasn't a dream. This was real!
Just then, a voice came from outside. "Let me in. I have urgent business with Theodore."
"You can't go in."
Hearing the noise, Theodore raised his head and saw Justin outside the door. "What are you doing here?"
"I have something important to tell you, something related to Rosalie. Let me in, or you'll regret it," Justin said sternly.
"Let him in." With Theodore's permission, the bodyguard let Justin enter.
Justin immediately closed the door and walked straight to Theodore's bedside.
"How are you recovering?" Justin asked.
"What does my health have to do with you? Are you here to flaunt your relationship with Rose? If so, there's no need. I can't get through to her. Please give this to her. I'd really like to know what she's trying to do!"
Theodore angrily threw the two pieces of paper on the floor.
