"Justin took Steve away. He wanted to hand the baby to Theodore, but Theodore is in the emergency room right now after having met with an accident. He handed the child to Sebastian."
There was a lot of information in Yerick's words.
Justin had returned and taken the baby away. Rosalie felt relieved to hear that, but she became anxious again upon learning that Theodore was in an accident.
"Theo was in an accident? How is he? Is he still alive?"
"So worried about him?" Yerick said as he cleared the dishes. "Rose, that makes me sad."
"Yerick, quit acting! It's all your fault he met with an accident. You forced me to say those words to agitate him!" Rosalie glared at him. "You maliciously caused his accident!"
"Rose, just look at you. You're not worried about your child anymore and are worried about Theodore instead. You're always worried about others when you should be worried about yourself instead."
"Yerick, why do you know so many things?"
"I lied to you about many things, but there was one thing I never kept from you," Yerick said with a smile.
"What is it?" Rosalie asked.
"I'm very smart," Yerick said as he pointed to his head. "I'm highly intelligent and know how to make use of anything that comes my way. As long as I want to know about something, there's nothing I won't know."
Rosalie gritted her teeth as fury burned in her eyes.
"Rose, don't look at me like that. It makes me sad."
"Rose, this scene must be very familiar to you, I suppose. You chose to save Sebastian at that time. Take a good look at whether it was worth it to choose him."
The look in Rosalie's eyes turned from sorrow, to shock, and then to disbelief.
She saw Theodore calling for help with his phone, but Sebastian suddenly lurched forward to kick Theodore's phone away and stomp on it. He cackled after the phone was thoroughly destroyed.
Through the video, she could hear Sebastian's smug voice, telling Theodore to go to hell.
Rosalie heard every single word he spoke so smugly to Theodore at that time, which felt like needles piercing right through her heart.
How could this be? How could this…
