Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 1171

"Rose, I'm sorry," Sebastian murmured.

Rosalie held Steve in her arms, looking at him helplessly. "You always say that, and then you just keep doing it."

Sebastian's heart tightened. "Rose, I…"

He wanted to explain, but Rosalie ruthlessly interrupted him. "I don't want to hear it. Get in the car."

They had arrived in the same car.

Rosalie got in first, placing Steve in the safety seat and fastening the belt securely. She then sat in the back seat.

Sebastian and Yerick were both trying to get into the back seat.

The back row had three seats, one of which had a child's safety seat installed. This left only two seats for adults, one of whom inevitably had to sit in the front passenger seat.

Yerick and Sebastian argued again outside the car.

Sebastian snapped, "You take the front seat."

"You take it. I already sat in the front on the way here. It's your turn."

The two of them were at an impasse.

Rosalie, feeling a headache coming on, said, "Enough, stop arguing. Sebastian, you sit in the front passenger seat."

Sitting next to Sebastian always made her feel pressured.

Sebastian was a bit disgruntled, but since Rosalie had spoken, he couldn't refuse. Reluctantly, he went to the front seat and fastened his seatbelt.

He cast a cold glance at Justin, who ignored him entirely. Justin started the car and drove away.

The atmosphere in the car was very quiet. Everyone was silent, and Steve sat obediently in the safety seat while Yerick kept trying to amuse him.

Rosalie hadn't expected Theodore to show up here. After what had happened earlier at Rebecca's grave, was that not enough for him? Why had he followed them here?

When Theodore saw Rosalie with those three men, his anger flared. Ignoring the others, he walked directly to Rosalie's side. "Rose, I need to talk to you."

Rosalie closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and calmed herself before opening the door and stepping out of the car. "What are you doing here? Haven't you caused enough trouble?"

"I just want to talk to you."

"What's left to talk about between us? Just keep protecting Aurora and leave me alone. Why are you here?"

"I…" Theodore wanted to defend himself, but seeing the other men present, he refrained from arguing with Rosalie in front of them. Otherwise, they'd surely revel in watching him ruin his situation.

"Rose, I'm not here to protect her. I just want to clarify everything. After all, Rebecca's my grandmother too, and I need to know the truth. Can we talk? After you left earlier, I was really worried."

What he hadn't anticipated was that his concern had been unnecessary. These men had wasted no time swooping in to take advantage of the situation.
