Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 1128

"Rose is here. Oh, Rose!"

Rebecca was so glad to hear that Rosalie was here, she went downstairs with Zane's help to say hello to Rosalie as quickly as she could.

"Rose!"

"Grandma." Rosalie approached Rebecca and hugged her, unable to hold back her tears.

Rebecca was delighted to see Rosalie. "Rose, you're finally here! I haven't seen you for so long. I really missed you."

Rebecca kept feeling like she hadn't seen Rosalie for a long time and had a niggling feeling that she had forgotten something important. Her brain was becoming foggier and foggier day by day.

"I'm sorry, Grandma. If you want to see me, I'll come visit you more often."

She thought Grandma would never remember her and would keep seeing Aurora as her.

"Yes, do come visit me more often. I'm getting old, I don't know how much longer I have to live. Each visit is a countdown to my death."

"Grandma, don't say that," Rosalie said, feeling very upset. "You'll live to a ripe old age."

Rebecca held Rosalie's hand tight. "I want that too. I want to see you and Theo with children of your own. I want to carry my great-grandchild in my own hands."

Aurora saw how close Rebecca and Rosalie were, and was fuming and jealous. She had humbled herself and kept this old lady company for so long, yet Rebecca only had eyes for Rosalie.

Theodore approached them, and Steve started cooing. Rebecca turned her head, and was shocked to see the baby in Theodore's arms.

"This…this baby is…"

Theodore replied, "Grandma, this baby is…"

"Grandma, did you forget?" Rosalie interrupted Theodore, and immediately took Steve from Theodore's arms. "I've been married to Theo for a long time. This is our baby."

Theodore looked at Rosalie in shock as emotions roiled in his chest.

She had wanted to do as Theodore suggested and say that Steve was her friend's, and she was helping to take care of him. However, the expectant look in Grandma's eyes made her blurt out the truth.

Although she was speaking the truth, Theodore didn't think so.

Perhaps one day, she might tell Theodore the truth, but not now. Not at a time or place like this.

Right now, nothing else mattered except for Grandma thinking that this was the truth.

Rebecca carried the baby in her arms and was moved to tears. "You and Theo have a child of your own! I've waited for this day for so long, to carry my great-grandchild in my arms before I die."

Rebecca carried the baby in her arms as she sat on the couch. She was very careful, for fear that she might drop the baby.

Rosalie took a step back to give Rebecca some alone time with her baby.

She turned to glance at Theodore, whose gaze met hers. They looked at each other with mixed feelings brewing in their hearts.
