Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 1106

"Oh dear. Thanks, Mr. Spencer. Thankfully you picked it up. I'm so careless."

Yerick opened his wallet to check that everything was inside.

"It's a small matter if I lost my money, but my mom's photo is inside, and I only have one. I can't lose it."

Yerick stared at the photo in the wallet with sad eyes.

"Your mother…" Wesley began.

"My mother's no longer around," Yerick said sadly. "This was her last photo. She died when I was very young. Look, Mr. Spencer. Isn't my mom beautiful?"

Wesley took the wallet and saw the small photo inside. A young, beautiful woman looked back at him with a bright smile.

Shock flashed past Wesley's eyes when he saw the woman's face. His mind buzzed, feeling as though it was going to explode.

How could it be her?

Wesley was completely shaken. He couldn't believe what he saw.

That woman looked so familiar. He didn't know if he saw it wrongly, but she looked so similar.

"Mr. Spencer, what's wrong?" Yerick looked curiously at him. "Is my mom so beautiful, it shocked you?"

Wesley immediately snapped back to attention and nodded.

"Yes, she's beautiful." He smiled weakly and asked, "How did your mother pass away?"

"My mom fell sick, very sick. She was all skin and bones when she died because she couldn't eat or drink anything. All treatment proved useless," Yerick said with a sigh.

He lowered his head, his eyes glistening with tears.

"I was only 10 years old."

The corner of Wesley's lips twitched as uneasiness crept up his heart.

Yerick was 19 years old.

He recalled 20 years ago, he had indeed…

After marrying Sydney, Wesley was very unhappy in the marriage and continued being with his first love.

However, aside from Sydney and his first love, he had another woman.

Twenty years ago, Wesley met a woman.

At that time, he was drinking after a fight with his first love. He headed out and tried to drown his sorrows with alcohol.

His beloved woman kept asking him when he was getting a divorce. However, he couldn't get a divorce. His mother was a huge obstacle and he couldn't give his first love a satisfactory answer, so they fought.

Thus, he was in a foul mood.
