Rosalie took her child from Sebastian's home and checked into a hotel.
She couldn't bring herself to be under one roof with Sebastian.
She carried her baby in her arms as she sat on her couch, feeling extremely troubled.
"Stevie, we only have each other from now on. All those men are nothing but liars. They're absolutely unreliable. Don't ever become fickle-minded, big fat liars like them when you grow up."
"Mama…" cooed the baby in her arms.
Although his voice wasn't very clear, Rosalie could understand what he was saying.
"Darling, did you just call me mama?"
The baby laughed and pouted as he repeated himself. "Mama."
Rosalie couldn't hold back her tears. "Oh, darling! Thank you."
She was so touched to hear her baby calling her mama. She regretted many things, but the only thing she didn't regret was giving birth to her child.
"Stevie, don't you worry. Mommy will take care of you from now on."

The next day, Rosalie went to visit Rebecca. She wanted to see her grandmother and show the latter her grandson.
When she arrived at the door, she heard excited voices coming from the hall.
Grandma was laughing, with Aurora seated next to her. They were having a ball of time chatting.
"You're teasing me now, young lady!"
"Yes, Grandma. I'm teasing you and trying to make you happy."
Aurora was sensible and a sweet-talker, making Rebecca's heart flutter.
Rosalie walked in with her baby in her arms and said, "Grandma, do you really not recognize me at all?"
Rebecca said with a smile, "Who are you? You look slightly familiar. Are you Rose and Theo's friend? Who's this baby?"
"Grandma," Aurora explained, "Ms. Young is Sebastian Carter's wife. That is her and Sebastian's baby."
"Who is Sebastian?" Madam Jarvis asked.
"He's a rich, young and talented man. Ms. Young is fortunate to have such a good husband," Aurora said.
"I see," Rebecca said as realization dawned upon her. "Ms. Young, what brings you here?"
"Grandma, she's my friend," Aurora said as she approached Rosalie warmly. "She's here to visit you."
Aurora looked like a part of the family and not at all like a stranger.
Rosalie turned to look at Aurora, whose smile hid daggers. Aurora turned to look back at Rosalie with a smile, as if reminding her not to say anything wrong.
