"Aurora, you still haven't seen the thing that will break your heart even more. If you saw it, you wouldn't be saying this," Yerick countered.
"I still don't know your name," Aurora said. "You've been telling me you're Theo's friend, but he never mentioned he had such a friend."
"He certainly wouldn't mention me, because things between him and I are very strained."
Aurora was rendered speechless. He had told her that they had severed ties.
"By the way, Aurora, did he go back?" Yerick asked.
Aurora nodded. "Yes. He originally wanted to stay and take care of me, but I was worried he'd get tired, so I told him to go back and rest. He'll come to see me again tomorrow."
"Did he really go back?"
"I'm absolutely sure," Aurora said. "I told him to go back. Otherwise, where else could he go?"
"Have you thought about the possibility that he went to find Rosalie?"
"Rosalie! Are you saying he's with Rosalie now? No, that's impossible! Theodore wouldn't do that," Aurora protested.
"Why not? Didn't Rosalie's husband go back to Blencalgo? Now Theodore and Rosalie can be together, can't they?" Yerick said, his eyes gleaming with a cunning light.
"It's not possible," Aurora insisted. "Theodore wouldn't do that to me. I trust him."
"Do you really trust him that much?"
Aurora's face flushed with embarrassment. "You... At least tell me, are you a good person or not?"
"Even if I'm a bad person, what can you do?" Yerick grabbed her face roughly. "Do you dare tell Theodore that you saved him, but it was all part of a plan? That someone has been helping you all along? Do you dare say that? If you do, it'll mean that you're scheming against him. Everything will be exposed as a deception!"
Aurora's eyes widened in shock, her expression filled with disbelief. "You... You really are a bad person! You're not his friend!"
"That's right. I'm not his friend."
"I'm going to tell Theo!" Aurora was extremely agitated.
"Fine, tell him." Yerick forcefully shoved her face away. "Once you tell him, the consequences are yours to bear. He'll throw you away like garbage. After all, you don't have the same place in his heart as Rosalie. You deceive him once, and he'll dump you anytime. Your dream will be over."
