CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery novel Chapter 1319

Quincy didn’t respond to that. Instead, he shifted the topic. “Do you remember what you just said about Lydia?”

“Of course I remember.” Tiffany didn’t understand why he suddenly asked, but she had no problem repeating herself. After all, Quincy was the one who brought it up this time.

“Lydia’s running around with another man before your divorce is even finalized. She’s not a good woman, and you saw it with your own eyes. I know it’s hard for you to accept, but you can’t just fool yourself forever, can you?” She even made sure to bring up Mrs. Perez, adding, “If your mom found out, she’d be furious.”

“Lydia hasn’t finalized the divorce yet, but neither have I. Miss Tiffany, I’m still married, and here you are saying all this to me. Should I interpret that as you trying to make yourself the other woman?” Quincy wasn’t holding back at all.

Tiffany’s face drained of color. The term “other woman” hit her hard. How could he use such an ugly phrase to describe her?

“We’re perfectly innocent. Nothing happened between us. How can you accuse me of that?” she stammered.

“Lydia and he are even more innocent. They weren’t holding hands or getting cozy. And unlike some, Lydia’s mom didn’t drug her own child,” Quincy shot back, cutting her off.

Thinking about that incident still filled him with rage. People take more care with their pets, yet his mother was willing to go to such lengths.

“Alright, let’s just get it done quickly,” Tiffany replied, hastily catching up to his pace.

Meanwhile, at a table on the third floor, Eugene was busy making sure everything was perfect. He poured Lydia some water, then grabbed napkins and wiped the table, which was already clean.

“Eugene, relax. The server can handle this stuff, and the table doesn’t need a second wipe,” Lydia said, finally stopping him. She could see he was trying hard to impress her, but she didn’t need it.

Eugene tossed the napkin into the trash. “Lydia, I just don’t want you to feel like you’re being shortchanged.”
