Carrying the Alpha's Heir novel Chapter 15

Chapter 13: The Vista’s Part 1

Everyone was busy preparing for the feast that we will share this lunch. The Vista’s will come, and it’s making me nervous somehow.

As I have said earlier, I have only met few of the clan. The place that we used to go in Saint Lawrence was a place exclusive for the clan only. However, I only knew that they were families, but only few were the real Vista’s.

“Mom, I think we have to serve more steak.” I advised mommy who’s on the kitchen properly preparing the food.

“Yes, darling.” Mom said.

I smiled and went out there.

We’ve been in relationship for years and I know exactly everything about Vigor. From his hobbies, food he likes and even his type of clothes.

He doesn’t prefer suits; he prefer cargo pants and shirts.

I smiled from that thought.

As time pass by, the more I get nervous. The Vista’s have a simple life, but I don’t know what my parent’s comment about that. I am a heiress of our estates, but I am confident that my parent isn’t like any other. They don’t look down on a person’s family background, but it doesn’t mean they wont consider it. I would understand if they would ask something like that because I know, they only want me to be with someone who can take care of me.

Having a family with Vigor is a big responsibility. And I know the fact that my parents worry about that fact too.

I sighed and looked at the clock on the wall. It’s almost lunch time and I think they’re coming.

I waited for another 5 minutes and they arrived. I guided my mom and dad on the entrance to see them. I’m a bit shock when there were five cars entered. I thought he would only bring 5 of them.

The first one to go out was Vigor, wearing a white long sleeve polo and slacks. He was alone on the first car so I carefully step down the stairs to meet him halfway. “Hi,” I just said, and my attention immediately went on the others.

Leo Vista was also alone with the second car; he is wearing a formal suit and I don’t know if I’m just imagining things, but he looked ecstatic just from the look on his face. The third car was Lex Vista and his wife, Liria. I immediately waved on her and she looks gorgeous today. Now that I realized, this clan has this kind of beauty that is unique. Not like any other.

Liria is fare as a snow. Her eyes aren’t golden, but I can’t tell because it changes color depending on ray of light. The Vista’s however is faintly golden. Lex Vista is a little bit colder than the rest of the brothers, maybe because he isn’t that sociable.

The fourth car was an unfamiliar male and female, I don’t know them but they’re smiling at me, I just smiled back for courtesy. It is kind of embarrassing that the Vistas were happy to see me, it gives the chills that they knew from the start.

The fifth car made everyone fixed on their places and just focus watching the car door opened. An extremely good-looking man went out from the driver’s seat, looking stoic. He is emotionless like nothing interest him in this world. He straightly went on the passenger seat and opened it, an old man came out, smiling directly on me.

The handsome man then went on the backseat and took out two bouquet of flowers. I almost pinch myself because I look like a teenager who just found her crush.

“Stop looking at him,” I snapped on my thoughts when I heard my man talk closely on my ears.

“Who’s he? Is he the old brother?” I asked without even looking at the father of my child.

“Women don’t interest him,” He said.

I pouted. Nice, nice, means loyal hmm.

“I like him,” I murmured, and after a while all of the guest groaned at the same time.

They all looked at Vigor, it’s like they just had a conversation that they only knew.

“Please let us enter,” Mommy snaps.

If it wasn’t because of my mother, the tension in between them wouldn’t have stopped.

I took a glance on the old brother, but Vigor’s big built covered my whole view. I glared at him, and he’s towering me with his cold stares. I just rolled my eyes.

When we’re inside, the helpers immediately accommodated us. I was sitting on the long couch with my parents and Vigor is standing beside me. Liria was sitting on a single couch and her husband standing on her side. The Old man that they’re with was sitting on the long couch in front of us, the two unfamiliar person’s were sitting beside the grandpa and the handsome big brother was standing in front of me- behind the old man.

“What are these properties?”

I looked at my dad as a warning. I don’t want this conversation to circulate on wealth.

“Half of the lands of this area belongs to the Latex’s including some estate portfolios.” The big brother suddenly butts in.

“Leandro was correct. We haven’t prepared the papers but we can forward the copy right after,” Their mom said.

My parents were suddenly speechless. I’m kind of embarrassed. Embarrassed to the fact that the handsome brother was the one who answered the question. And oh- Leandro was his name.

I heard a hiss on my side, so I glared on Vigor again. Why does it seem like he’s annoyed when all that he’s only doing is standing? Tss.

“A-alright. I think everyone here is hungry. We have prepared food for the visitors.” Mom said and stood up.

Everyone stood up, and when I did, Vigor immediately grabbed me so close to him.

“What?” I asked confusedly.

“Don’t try looking somewhere else, or else..” He murmured as his eyebrows met each other.

What’s wrong with him?
