It felt so good to open his eyes and see her there.
Sebastian turned his head to look at her peaceful, sleeping face. Her skin was flawless, which he figured had a lot to do with how well she slept. He placed a soft kiss on her forehead before leaving in a good mood.
Natalie didn't wake up until after nine.
She looked around, feeling as though someone had been sleeping next to her.
She glanced at the other side of the bed. It was empty.
She had always been a deep sleeper. No matter the time or place, if she wanted to sleep, she could fall asleep quickly and soundly. It was normal for her to stay in one position all night.
Natalie scratched her head. How strange. She thought she'd woken up once in the middle of the night and sensed someone beside her. She must have been dreaming.
She furrowed her brow. Was it really just a dream?
She got out of bed barefoot and opened the door to peek outside.
Hey, no Sebastian!
Yes!
Sebastian was gone.
Great, now she could finally relax and do her own thing.
She always felt on edge when he was around.
Natalie happily went to the bathroom to get ready, humming a cheerful little song.
After she was done, she headed out to find Susan and Zenobia, planning to grab breakfast with them before enjoying one last day of fun. They would head back to work tomorrow.
Just as she opened the door, she saw a hotel employee pushing a breakfast cart toward her room.
Natalie was speechless.
"Ma'am, the CEO asked us to prepare this breakfast. Your two friends have also been served, and they're already eating."
