Natalie was still groggy. During winter, she could sleep like the dead.
She forced her eyes open and looked out the window. It was a nice surprise to see the sun out, but the light was glaring.
"Luna, what's going on this early? Shouldn't you be sleeping?"
Luna was at a loss for words.
She said helplessly, "Natalie, the sky is falling."
Natalie shot up in bed, surprised. "What do you mean the sky is falling? Even if it were, that's someone else's problem to deal with."
Luna was exasperated. She much preferred this non-lovesick version of her friend. "Natalie, Joanna is disgusting. Just check the news. I'm on my way over."
Natalie frowned, remembering Joanna had told her she'd have a good show to watch this morning.
Natalie quickly opened her news feed.
It was ten in the morning.
Natalie was surprised she had slept for so long.
She saw that Joanna was holding a press conference.
