Natalie’s head snapped up, her eyes meeting Sebastian’s icy gaze. The intense pressure radiating from him made her heart skip a beat.
Natalie frowned but said nothing. Why him again?
This was so annoying. She really didn't want to see him.
Matthew also frowned at the sight of Sebastian.
Just then, Joanna walked over, her face a mask of feigned surprise. “Natalie, how could you do this behind Sebastian’s back? Have you no shame?”
“Sebastian works late every day for the company, and instead of being home to take care of him, you’re out on a date with another man.”
“Natalie, you’re becoming more shameless by the day!”
Natalie laughed, amused by Joanna’s audacity. How could she so righteously accuse her of being shameless?
She stood up and faced Joanna, a devilish smile on her face. Smack!
A stinging slap landed squarely on her cheek.
“Ah! Natalie, you dare hit me?” Joanna shrieked, her eyes wide with fury.
How dare Natalie hit her!
Natalie sneered. “I just did, didn’t I? Why wouldn’t I dare? Joanna, is your mind as filthy as your heart and body, so you see filth everywhere? Mr. Monroe and I are business partners and neighbors. Is it any of your business if we have dinner together?”
“Aren’t you the shameless one? You knew Sebastian and I were married, yet you paraded in and out of our villa, took pictures of yourself in his bed to send to me, and moved into the master bedroom every chance you got, while I, his wife, was forced to stay in a guest room. You’ve made a career out of being the other woman. Have you ever known shame?”
