Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 561

“Ahhh!” Joanna shrieked, smashing the fish tank in a fit of rage.

The tank shattered, sending water and fish spilling across the floor. The stranded fish flopped and struggled for life as water instantly pooled everywhere.

Her shoes were soaked with icy water, but in her fury, she didn't care. “Natalie, Natalie, how dare you… I’ll kill you.”

“Your family… I'll take them out, one by one. You crave a family, don't you? I’ll make sure you never have one. You want your four brothers' affection? I’ll steal it all away, so you’ll spend your life unloved.”

“And don’t even dream of getting Sebastian’s affection.”

Exhausted, Joanna stood hunched over, gasping for breath.

Anger and failure filled her chest. Her scheme had been aimed at Marshall, but in the end, she was the one who had been outplayed.

She had always been cunning, effortlessly manipulating everyone around her. This time, she had meticulously planned a conspiracy to ruin Marshall, believing everything was under her control.

But she never imagined she would become the one being manipulated. Her face was as pale as a sheet, her eyes blazing with fury and disbelief.

Was this battle of wits and counter-schemes going to end in her own humiliating defeat?

Joanna collapsed onto the floor in a rage.

The fire in her heart refused to die down. Perhaps it was the shame of Natalie witnessing her at her most unhinged that fueled her intense anger and humiliation.

Natalie knew her temperament all too well and had deliberately come to provoke her.

Outside the door, Colin watched Joanna's meltdown with a cold gaze.

Out of sight, Joanna’s expression was monstrously contorted.

Before, he would have felt sorry for her, rushed in to comfort her, and spent all his allowance on expensive gifts to make her happy.

Thinking back on his past behavior, he realized he had been an absolute fool.

All his family's genuine care meant nothing to Joanna.
