Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 531

“Hello?” Natalie answered the phone.

“It's me.” Sebastian's deep voice came from the other end.

Natalie immediately moved to hang up.

It seemed Sebastian anticipated her reaction.

His voice grew urgent. “Natalie, don't hang up. I need to talk to you about something important.”

Natalie's tone was icy. “Go on.”

Sebastian said, “Mr. Spencer said he’s willing to trade the land in Westwood Hills if you drop the charges against his son. I know you bought that other property to get into real estate, and land in Westwood Hills is notoriously hard to acquire. You should consider it.”

Natalie let out a bitter laugh. “You’re the one who wants the Westwood Hills land, Sebastian. Are you trying to persuade me so you can snatch it for yourself?”

“Let me tell you, it's impossible. I won't let a man who tried to kill me walk free. Besides, that land in Westwood Hills can't even be developed. Any decent surveyor could tell you that. What would I do with that?”

Sebastian instantly understood what Natalie was implying.

“How did you know there might be an ancient tomb there?”

Natalie smirked. “I have you to thank for that. You’ve taught me so much.”

If he hadn't killed her, allowing her to be reborn...

How else would she know what the future held? She would never forget the moment he killed her with his own hands, taking two lives at once. What could Sebastian and Joanna possibly do to repay her for that? She wouldn't die in this lifetime until she saw them both dead.

Natalie hung up the phone, fuming.

Even now, Sebastian was still trying to use her.

Sean offered a wry smile. “Sir, it’s because you and the Griffiths have always catered to Joanna's every whim. If Ms. Sanders had something that Joanna wanted, you would all find a way to manipulate Natalie or just take it from her.”

“So, it’s understandable why Ms. Sanders would be suspicious of you.”

Sebastian frowned. He had done some things without even thinking.

He remembered once, Natalie had a beautiful purse that Joanna coveted. He’d told Natalie to give it to Joanna, reasoning that Natalie was a homebody while Joanna often accompanied him to galas and events.

He could still recall the profound disappointment in Natalie’s eyes.

In the end, she gave the purse to Joanna.

And from that day on, her gaze toward him grew colder and colder.

At the time, he’d simply thought she wouldn't have any use for it.
